My happy place - food is top notch - service impeccable - I never feel rushed - and the wine is superb A+

We have been eating at Salumi since they opened maybe 6 years ago. They have a very big turnover of staff so we have never gotten to become very familiar with. The food is unique and typically very good. The owners are frequently present, sitting at the bar sampling their wines and chatting with staff… so much so that staff ignores customers. As often as we frequent the owners never greet us, never ask how our meals are, never say thanks for coming, hope you enjoyed your meal, etc. I don’t get it. It is a relatively small establishment and the staff seem to take their key from the owners, stand-off ish. We go because we like the food but the owners are very unwelcoming. We would go more often if the atmosphere were better. We walk past the owners most often but they have never welcomed us or thanked us for patronage. So we give a not great rating

This is a great place for date night or with a small group of friends. Not suited for children. The seating was cozy so that's why I wouldn't suggest this place for kids. It also has a bar like environment but in a good way. The service was fast and our waiter offered great suggestions. You can easily wind up with a big bill and too much food if you get carried away. The bread is delicious and they have a decent selection of alcoholic beverages. Any of the boards they offer are delicious. We also ordered extra olives. The dessert board is wonderful as well. Overall, this is a really nice place. I will definitely come again. Parking can be tricky but you can always park across the street at Lidl.

Amazing restaurant! The staff was so kind and the food tasted amazing. I’m not crazy about sunny side up eggs but wow was the piquillo sunrise. I also had their garlic potatoes and French toast which was amazing as well. The French toast is not on the mushy side which I loved. Their mimosa and cappuccinos are also yummy! We were at the bar and watching them make cheese boards and they look absolutely delicious as well. Highly recommend them for brunch! Thank you guys for your amazing service!

A family friend gifted us an "Italian board" for my wife's birthday and we have been hooked ever since.
All their menu selections are perfect. Made with well researched purveyd high quality ingredients. I highly recommend their boards but you can't go wrong with any item on their menu.
Wine selections are impeccable as is the entire staff.
Highly recommended.

The worst.is it because we're Asian that nobody wants to take our order or just give us a glass of water for a starter? And a woman just sat down besides us got her order first?

Our favorite spot for charcuterie. I’ve hosted work events here and my best date nights with my wife are here. Finally, a place where you get a full charcuterie board for the money you are spending. It is worth every penny you spend. Servers are great, everything is fresh. Their small plates are to die for- i order all different ones every time I go! Thank you!

Staff was welcoming and very attentive. Menu can be a little overwhelming on just how much choices there are, but the plating choices are phenomenal! Really impressed with the combinations of small details in the quality of ingredients to dance on your pallette. Atmosphere made me feel right at home. Cant wait to come back!

After having a horrible racist experience by a local establishment that refused to service my group, we called Salumi and asked if they could accommodate us. The gentleman who I spoke with, was so sweet and polite. He let me know that they were booked with their prior Mothers Day reservations, but that at around 12/12: 30pm, they would have tables. He then gave me the option of sitting at the bar, if we didn't mind. We were a group of adult moms, so we didn't mind it at all. Let me say, the staff at this location was absolutely welcoming and sweet even though their establishment was full. We sat at the bar and received the best attention and service. The food was so tasty and the portion size was just perfect. I regret not taking more pictures of the food. I am looking forward to visiting again and trying one of the boards. Keep up the great work! Thank you for rescuing our Mother's Day!

I had great expectations when I arrived at this establishment but my hopes were quickly crushed by the poor service and terrible restaraunt "policy" where you have to eat the meat at the temperature that they decide. Our server Danielle was incredibly inattentive. All of our food came out separately so we couldn't enjoy anything together. We decided to try the lamb lollipops, they arrived to the table PINK. The menu claims they cook it medium rare. When we asked if they can be cooked to the correct temperature we were quickly told "NO, we do not do modifications" Asking the kitchen to simply cook the meat at the temperature that they claim to cook it, is NOT a modification. When then asked "What if we can't eat rare meat? " Without hesitation she replied "Sorry you have to eat it at this temperature" Did I mention that it was my wife's BIRTHDAY? This didn't seem to matter not one bit! After we endured this abuse Danielle was no where to be found for 15 minutes. Luckily one of my friends that was dinning with us found her outside the Restaraunt chatting it up with her friends. Needless to say we will never be returning to this TERRIBLE eatery that would put such policy's into place to bully their customers. Btw, they have the same policy at their sister Restaraunt "Plancha"

Waitress didn't wanna be there, went on 3 breaks right out front while we watched and waited for her. Bone marrow had to much jelly to make up for lack of marrow. Lamb came rare, when we asked for them to be cooked more they refused and said we can only have it the way the chef wanted to cook it. Just very disappointing, we told her we had never been there before after tonight we will never be back.

Had a great time here last Friday. Shelby was a sweetheart and she was very patient. Jessica was attentive and very accommodating. Can't wait to come back

My favorite place on Long Island. Never had a bad meal and service is ALWAYS great. Even just for a glass of wine and some bread and cheese.

Solid tapas for a more European experience. Rustic, no fuss interiors with a long bar. Great date spot.

Above and Beyond, consistency is off the charts and the place is a hidden gem of Long Island. This place definitely deserves more recognition than it gets. This is quality at it's finest.
