Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria, Rochester NY

We've gotten several pizza's @ this location & were good. We ordered a med. Supreme & It was terrible! Mushy, soggy, & was terrible! You couldn't even hold it, & it kept dropping the toppings! Very, Very dissatisfied! It was fairly pricey to be as disappointed as we are! Last time for us! There are many other options in my area!

Arthur threacher's fish and chips I love it I'm from New York and Salvatore's on Culver road and East ridge road is the best I recommend them 100%. The service is great I love Salvatore's thank you Salvatore's You're the best

The pizza at this location is always the BEST. Exactly the way pizza should be. My orders are always delivered fast too!

Pizza is the best in Rochester, other than Chester cab on park ave. Now if you ask about the other food they make, they can barely get the other right. Every time I order a sub it’s wrong, so check your orders! Really friendly staff

We got pizza slice combo's and 6 garlic knots I wasn't too impressed with their flavor neither was my wife they were way too salty

I live in the area so I buy here because it’s closest to home. On Three separate occasions I have had errors with my food first two were the chicken; once was under cooked and the other absurdly over cooked. I called complained and NEVER ASKED FOR FREE FOOD OR MONEY BACK. Third time today 5/19/22 we order pizza for our daughters and our in-laws and ourselves (my wife and I) and the pizza dough was PAPER THIN. I call “Aisha” answers I request a manager or supervisor and “Daniel” answers I explain we are a long time buyer there at least 4 years and recently we have been getting mistake after mistake. I explain the pizza being paper thin and tell him at what point will these errors be fixed because I mean I like shopping here it’s near home and the food WAS good once upon a time and the food here is NOT cheap. You expect quality for the price, he says he can offer credit I tell him it’s not my sole purpose I really wanted my food to be on par with its price so than I decide to entertain his offer and he states they can only offer PARTIAL credit. The whole pizza was trash and not partial of the pizza. We all held off from eating anything else to have Salvatore’s for dinner that is the only reason I didn’t drive back to take the food back to the store.
Mr. Daniel stated you could ask to have a manager make you pizza my name is Daniel and if I’m available ask for me to make your food.
I stated does everyone who wants to eat quality food have to ask for you to make them their food? And he laughed.
I admit he was nice and wasn’t mean or belligerent but this is not ideal.

You guys need to put more pride and QUALITY into your expensive food.

Freshness of the food is fine. What frustrating is my order was repeated back to me correctly and still comes out wrong. Check your order before you leave. I’m on lunch and cannot go back.

Not worth fifty dollars med pizza Chicken of eight 16 oz Pepsi delivery. Chicken good claim no coupons deal since 2019 which includes combos. Got the feeling I had been robbed

Fantastic regular crust pizza. Never pizza bones left over.
When they are on they are the bomb. Too often they are hit and miss because of staff turnover.
When ordering fried make sure you ask them to vent the fried items so it doesn't don't steam itself soggy. DO NOT KNOT THE BAG.

Personally I stopped because it was an Arthur Treachers franchise and I missed Arthur Treachers, since the both closed in the Syracuse area. Unlike the Syracuse locations, this location doesn't sell chicken planks so, I went with a slice of pizza. I liked the thick, airy crust and the "under-carriage" reminded me of how Pizza Hut's pan pizzas look like. The cheese and sauce was tasty but personally, I would have liked more sauce. Since I got a pre-baked slice, I can only assume the sauce had soaked in, before I got it.

Very courteous staff! Greatest pizza! Their quality has not suffered at all like other restaurants with this pandemic. No scrimping on toppings.
Less than a minute to pay, pickup and out the door!
