Super friendly employees and always looking to help and expand the customers knowledge. I purchased an amp for my son. I was looking at the most basic version. However the staff asked me to reconsider my choice because they felt he would outgrow the basic version and would ultimately look for effects. Sure enough upon hearing a slightly more upgraded amp my son felt both the sound and options outweighed the basic amp. Either way we went for the upgraded amp and the folks at Sam Ash were kind enough to include a guitar lead. Highly recommend.

We recently went to Sam Ash to inquire about buying a beginner’s guitar. Dylan saw us and asked us right away if he could be of help. He was awesome. He took the time to chat with us and was really helpful in showing us different things that we should know as beginners. We picked out a guitar and some accessories and he did all the work for us. I highly recommend.

If you're at the Huntington Station location and you run into Greg, you'll find he'll get along with anybody and be able to help you out at the drop of a hat.

I had a great experience at Sam Ash. Someone actually came up to me when I entered the store and helped me from beginning to end. I was not familiar with the product (it was a gift). They quickly knew what I wanted, checked inventory, and said it would get to me ASAP. I was in and out in 5 minutes. That’s a great process and great customer experience.

Had work done on two of my guitars. Very happy with the result. Customer service side of everything was great as well.

Liam was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He got me the right gear for exactly what I needed not because it was the most expensive but Because it was the right fit for my needs. I felt very comfortable accepting his recommendations. Will absolutely shop there again when the need arises to continue to upgrade my home studio.

I just bought a Carlo Robelli short guitar from Sam Ash in Huntington. The whole experience was just great from start to finish! I've already played the guitar and it's great, especially the price! It's always worth the trip when I go to Sam Ash.stop in and surprise yourself!

Ordered two items online (reflected as in stock). Website sends orders to local stores for fulfillment based on inventory. The store did not actually have the inventory, and called to offer a substitute (more money of course). I originally agreed, but then learned the second item on my order was not going to be in stock when I was called for my credit card payment for the additional cost of the new item (to substitute for the one that was out of stock). I requested just to cancel the entire order, which I was told had been done, and now I'm having to dispute two charges with Amex to the tune of $250. I have zero items, and am out $250. I went to Sweetwater and Guitar Center websites, ordered the same two products and both were delivered in less than a week. I'll never shop at Sam Ash again!

I ordered a Tamma hi-hat stand for my old drum kit. I received a call from the store that it was no longer available and they'd issue a refund. I asked them to keep my info in the system and to also look into their used departments at all the store for a similar stand.

Great experience with all the personable and helpful staff I encountered at my visit! In particular, Liam, who patiently assisted my daughter and I by educating us about the electronic pianos we were browsing!

Very helpful but kinda mad I bought a sm7b mic but not sure why they didn't tell me I needed a input cord which is essential in order to even use the product

Sam Ash is my go to store for DJ gear! Normally I would make purchases in person but this was my first time buying something from Sam Ash online. The DJ controller that I bought was a discontinued floor model.that I took a chance on, but turned out to be defective. I was able to return it to the store in Huntington, NY and after confirming the purchase through their system, I was quickly refunded the purchase price. They stand by the products they sell! Thank you!

I was looking to sell my cello so I went in when they open. I’m the only one in the store; the guy asked me if it was a rental return. I stated that I was looking to sell it. The guy then proceeded to tell me how he has only two people working and it would be an hour wait and it was my fault because I did not call and give them notice. I was the only one in the store and they told me it was an hour wait. I bought the cello from them for over a grand a few years ago. The fact that it’s my fault for not giving them notice because there is no one there is absurd. Most likely because they did not want to give money and wanted to deter me. If you want to be cheated out of money and get blamed for being a customer, I recommend this place.

Dave was great and caught me as I was leaving and spent the time to find exactly what I was looking for at another store, gave me a good deal and will ship to my home at no cost. Great experience - Dave knew his trade well - First Class!
