I am a professional, conservatory educated guitarist. By “professional” I mean that my entire income comes from being both a regularly hired session guitar player and a guitar teacher. Anyways, this location has the worst and the most inadequate customer service who assume that people who come in know nothing about guitars and, therefore, can be taken advantage of. Especially if they are women.

I sent one of my students to order a specific guitar there and the way they talk - how rude they are and how they are trying to push unnecessary gimmicks to up their sales- it is awful. I have a lot of students who regularly buy guitars and I will never ever recommend to any of them to go to this store again. I don’t want young people to have this experience and association with an instrument.

They need to hire people who are fit to work customer service; who are capable of civil behavior at least on a basic level.

My experience was certainly 5 Star & Above. The Attendant was very knowledgeable and attentive and explained about the Guitars; very great customer service. I will return.

I gave Sam Ash store at 2600 Flatbush Ave my DJ equipment's to see if they would purchase or point me in the right direction in selling them. I spoke with Tevin Chin then later on I was dealing Aaron. I left my equipment's to include 8 speakers (two 18" Celeston, two MTX 18"), turn table, about 6 power amp and more items at the store on April 7th. Between April and May I was speaking with Aaron in regards to get speakers sold. Earlier Aaron told me someone in the store is interested then he mention someone in the Bronx is interested.
The story with the person in the Bronx went on for awhile. Sometime in May I decided to retrieved my belongings from Sam Ash store. They could not find the speakers but one. The Celeston and MTX speakers gone they claim the items was thrown out for garbage yet they told me all my property was stored in one area. I believe someone in the store is DISHONEST.
My advice to anyone leaving items with this store to get a itemized receipt.

Sam ash is the place to go for all your musical needs. Especially if your looking for a friendly experience!

WE FROM PANAMÁ, MY SON BOUGHT A FENDER GUITAR, HE WAS SO HAPPY. BEFORE WE TRAVEL TO NY HE SAW THE GUITAR AT SAM ASH ON LINE, HE FELT IN LOVE WITH THE GUITAR. Decent place. Mainly electric & acoustic guitars and drums. But wait, where are the accordions (in America) ?

I needed a screw for the saddle on my Fender Strat. The screw threads stripped. The hardware stores don't carry that size screw. In Sam Ash I spoke to Israel Franco from the guitar department. He said that they don't sell the screws by themselves and the only way to get it was to by a new set of Fender saddles for $31. I told him I did not want to spend $31 for a screw. He said he would see what he can do. He found some screws from some old guitar saddles and sold me 2 of them for $1. He even wrapped them up for me so they wont get lost. Fantastic customer service. Thank you Israel!

I have purchased a guitar and accessories from them in the past. They were always very helpful.

Always great friendly service. Never looking to up sell a replacement part. Just the part you are looking for with their knowledge of the different products.

I've been going to the Brooklyn store since it was on Coney Island Avenue and Kings Highway. I grew up on Sam Ash.

I bought Yamaha piano 88 key in Brooklyn Sam Ash Stores. Sale persons were very nice. Delivery was done in time. I got very good experience. I am enjoying with my piano.

Israel Franco is an awesome guitar specialist. He helped my daughter pick out a great one. I love the staff and the other customers are cool as well. It is not just a shop but an experience. Places like this are needed in our communities.

Went to Sam Ash yesterday to get a Rack Shelf. That's a shelf that goes in a rack of equipment where the item does not have rack mounts. Walked in as was greeted right away. Told to go to the lower level where the item I wanted was. Salesperson assisted me right away. Brought me back upstairs to ring it up. I was in and out of the store in 8 minutes. Great Service.
