Samanea New York Mall, Westbury NY

As of last week there’s maybe one store that’s actually open? It seemed like it’s 2 restaurants (Cheesecake Factory and an Asian cuisine restaurant downstairs), a random piano depot, and a furniture outlet. That’s about it. Super depressing and weird. It was so bizarre to see a literally empty shopping center. Why do people even bother going here?

Great time at the Van Gogh experience. Very happy that post COVID, this venue is owly coming back to life. Important to support the arts, in whatever form they take.

Still not rented to capacity but 99 Ranch Market is there and it's an international delight.

Great mall and awesome location with lots of new and exciting places opening! Really looking forward to the entertainment!

I took a boxing class on Saturday at a gym called ReckFit that just opened up in this mall. It’s located on the second floor down from the Cheesecake Factory. Boxing was amazing and they offer other classes as well. I’m definitely going back!

As of October 10,2021- top floor has been used for Halloween House. A fun spot kids and adults for Halloween photo ops.

Attended a 50+ 'fair' with spouse. Went to lecture on senior care facilities for a family member to get info and rates here in NY for their facilities and locations. The second floor of the building could use tenants. Most stores were empty, sadly. Lots of give aways, tons of info available.

This used to be a very active place in the late 1990s and early 2000s, now it's a ghost town and a shell of its former self.

Area was very deserted. Was only in parking agarage and space was being used to park dealerahip cars.
