Sand Castle, Franklin Square NY

We had our wedding in April 2022 at The Sand Castle Venue. Having over 15 years of event planning experience working with venues for corporate dinners/events, by far this establishment has the most amazing and professional management and staff that go above and beyond. The executive team Moe, Loula, as well as the bridal assistants Joanna and Patty were truly stellar and the entire team worked hard to deliver flawless execution. Many of our guests were from Long Island and lived locally and had never attended a wedding here. However, in the words of one of the local residents/guests she believed this to be a hidden gem in the heart of Long Island. She still talks about the freshness of the seafood in our raw bar at the cocktail hour. While we knew that it would be challenging for majority of the guests to travel in from out of state and out of the country, despite Covid, the wedding was an overall success. The food and Viennese Hour is more than enough reason to book this venue. We highly recommend a wedding at SandCastle. The bonus is the unique space, and the people; the employees truly love what they do and care about making your wedding exceptional and a memorable experience for all! Our guests still rave about the Viennese Hour- truly outstanding- I would give Moe and his team 10/10. The owner also owns properties in Greece (Crete, Solimar Aquamarine) and it is clear to see that both of these establishments are operated by management that delivers high quality and hospitality is the utmost priority. We hope our recently engaged friends get married here so we can enjoy another wedding here again, this time as a guest!:)

I got married here 30 years ago when it was the Embassy East and its only gotten better over the years! My son got married here in 2021. Beautiful grounds, food is DELICIOUS and the staff are professionals. It was a great party. Everyone says they remember what a wonderful time they had and how good the food was.

They double booked an event for the same day as my wedding and lied to us about what was included in the contract until the last minute. Read your contracts and make sure everything is on there before you sign!

The experience so far has been AWESOME. They go above and beyond to give you the event of your life.

I had my son's wedding. The outdoor wedding venue was great. Both the indoor cocktail room and the party room were spacious, clean and good. All the working staff were kind and provided good service. The meal was delicious and it was so nice to eat comfortably. It's a place I really want to recommend to my friend's child's wedding.

We wish we could give them more than 5 stars! We got married in October of 2022 and choosing sand castle as our venue was by far the best choice. The entire process was made extremely stress free and easy thanks to Jamie! When we arrived at the food tasting, we were so taken back by how amazing the service was! We kept saying we hope that the service would be this great on the wedding day.and it sure was! All of our guests were wowed by the service, the food, the atmosphere! Mohammad was so helpful the day of the wedding and made sure everything turned out great and ran smooth. Pattie and Lukas were also the best! Pattie literally tied my shoes, ill never forget that! The service we received was out of this world! Each of the people I named were so sweet and helpful! By far the best venue for a wedding, if you're debating on booking THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO BOOK IT. The hall is amazing. The decor is definitely beautiful and lavished. I would book an event there myself. The staff was accommodating. The food was delicious.

Sand Castle is hands down THE BEST! Like nothing we have ever experienced before. I have had FOUR different wedding dates thanks to COVID and then also got pregnant in the midst of all the rescheduling. Sand Castle and Moe still handled everything and was able to accommodate all changes every throughout the craziness of the pandemic and all of the ever changing COVID mandates and restrictions. We were the last rescheduled wedding due to COVID and we went out with a bang! Everything about this place is phenomenal! Do not underestimate how important ONE WEDDING at a time is. That means their staff is only focused on you and your loved ones. They are AMAZING! I cannot say that enough. The venue, the food, their vendors (Genesis Event and Camelot Limousines) all excellent. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Our family and friends keep telling us our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to. They even give you food to take home. And I mean A LOT of food (not just the Bride and Groom’s entrees). We love Sand Castle. We’d throw any event there anytime! Now we can only hope someone we know gets married there so we can go back as guests.

Came here for a wedding. Reception time was very short. Only some guests got hors d'oeuvres and the bar closed when there was still a long line of guests waiting. Could not get a drink. The appetizer time was so long. Over an hour. A lot of people were full before the main dining. Also, they took a long time to refill dishes so guests had to pile their plates knowing it will be difficult to go back for more. The main dining was terrible food. Very overcooked and the kitchen could not control the mass production. Very poor scheduling for the wedding event.

My friend's daughter was getting married at this venue and all I can say is five stars all around from the decor to the nuptials cocktail hour to the entree and the DJ everything was top tier. I cannot say enough good things about this place even the staff were really good

My wedding was 9/23/22. It was BETTER than I could ever imagine! My guests are still raving about the food, the service, the place! Everyone was so friendly- I feel like I went it as a customer and left as family. They treated me like a princess and made my day PERFECT! Their recommended vendors were awesome as well. Deja Vu, Flowers by Brian, Kings Brass, Genesis … all top notch!

If you want everyone at your wedding to have a good time. This is the place to be. BEST wedding food on Long Island. And everyone knows a good time starts with good food. We still talk about our buddy's wedding 20 years later being our favorite one.

I love this place, attend my coworker wedding, the staff is efficiently attentive. The place is clean and beautiful. The cleanest bathrooms, with an attendant. Sand Castle is a class act. Don't have to worry about parking, there is valet parking. A great place, I would be planning my next birthday party there, my guests will be treated like royalty.

WOW, I wish I could give this venue more than 5 stars. Attended a Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding reception here this past weekend, and it seems like the venue really complied with/encourage every detail. Most extravagant wedding reception I've ever been to. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life!
