Sarabeth's Central Park South reviews
19Terrible experience about price / food Quality / service.please look for another place to eat and obtain a great experience!
Completely mediocre food. This place used to be great on the upper west side. What happened?
Everything was hard, overcooked and tasteless. The service was a mess - we had 5 different waiters and the bus boys and no idea what we ordered. The prices were outrageous for totally bland food.
It’s become a boring diner with 3x prices. Avoid.
I would say this is very pricy. For someone like me, it's quite a waste of money. However, my friends really loved the food. Overall, it lives up to the hype.
Went there for Saturday brunch. Had breakfast food that was really good. Servers were polite but forgot portions of my order. In their defense I got there late and ordered after the initial order. It was also very busy as it was a gorgeous day out. It wouldn't deter me from going again.
Avacado toast disgusting, poached egg just fried, old salmon, bread not tasty! Must bad avacado toast in my life
The menu wasn't as comprehensive as I was expecting, but the food was excellent. The seafood Cobb salad, the deviled eggs, and the eggs and bacon were all really enjoyed by our party. Prompt, attentive service.
Food was ok, presentation was excellent. I wouldn't go back if the wait was long. Nothing I had was to die for. I know it's New York but the host was close to let's say rude. I first noticed when we sat down and once another guest who walked in 10 minutes after us asked if he was not welcoming to us. We agreed so two situations in a matter minutes doesn't fair well. Great location, nice atmosphere, good food.
Classic American dining place. The service is just great! Very friendly and attentive! Would definitely take a paramour here ;)
It was ok but did not meet my expectations actually, I thought it’ll be delicious turns out it’s just “ok”
But then again i was just there for breakfast maybe lunch or dinner would be better.
Love, love, loved it! Its a must try when visiting New York. Staff was friendly and insightful. Our meal was hands down the best, and not to leave out their 4 flower mimosa, that was so the best mimosa, I've ever had. I wish they served those back home in Dallas.
I’m giving it 5 stars because the Lemon & Ricotta Pancakes are the best pancakes I’ve ever tried! I can’t believe how good they are. They are worth the 24 USD (with taxes). The service is ok, and the place is usually full, so try to make a reservation. I went twice in 4 days to have breakfast/brunch. I also tried the pumpkin waffle but it wasn’t as good as the pancakes. I think this is a must if you are in NY.
The fluffiest French toast around. So close to central park. Eerily attentive wait staff. Honestly not worth the $$ for most dishes but you won't regret the French toast. Annoyingly enough they charge for still water as well.
Good service but average dinner. You really just pay a lot to dine in Central Park South, their brunch is much better than dinner
Very disappointed. The food was literally COLD and the bread was so hard. The service wasn't bad but they never asked us if we were doing okay. I'm pretty sure you could find tons of better eggs benedict in NYC!
Good, but the brunch food is lacking flavor. It is your typical brunch menu, but lacks the one-two kick in my opinion.
They have OUTSTANDING customer service even though it’s a pretty busy restaurant, the food is getting too unflavored though, my omelette tasted like it was cooked by someone that hated spices/salt/pepper at least butter. Mimosas are right on point though.
I love this place. When I went here a few Saturdays ago, it was nice and quiet, and the service was speedy too. The food (salmon, eggs Benedict) was the most amazing breakfast I have ever had. On top of that, they offer discounted parking, in New York! Parking is 50$ everywhere except here, it’s only 15 for three hours. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Delicious brunch food, great service. They don't take reservations which had me nervous but we didn't have to wait at all at 10: 30 Sunday brunch.
