Saranac Lake Marina

Had a great time on Lower/Middle Saranac Lake with the boat we rented from SLM. Out of every place I checked for rentals, this was by far the cheapest option, but I wouldn’t know it based on the experience I had. Boat was fun and easy to manage and plenty quick to get around. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Look no further! This is easily the best bang for your buck by a mile.

Great location to start kayaking. A bit expensive and the crew was not too helpful but overall good experience.

We rented a pontoon boat here, the service was very good. My friends got lost on a kayak and the people working here helped in searching for them.

We had a 30 horsepower boat for the week. My boyfriend, his daughter and my granddaughter totally enjoyed every minute on the boat. He will definately be back to saranac lake marina, to rent a boat in the future!

We rented a nice pontoon boat for the day. The people working were very friendly and helpful. They made us go out in the boat with them to make sure we knew how to operate the boat, and went over markers on the lake and where on the lake to fish. When we returned they asked how the fishing was. Nice place, nice people.

We had a great experience with these folks. Boats are very well maintained and cleaned. Staff is very friendly and they helped us a lot in taking our luggage from boat, giving us test drive, putting our luggage in boat etc. Very helpful staff. It is right outside Lake Sarnac and best spot to book the boat from.

Had a weird experience there today and left the place wondering if someone played a prank. I called from lake placid to check on boats and rates. A gentleman gave me 3 options including a pontoon. I told them I am coming over in 30 mins and they were very nice and welcoming. I didn't reserve a boat as I didn't hear any concern.

When I got there, it was a different situation. The guy at the desk said they have no boats available today (jul 15). I told them I spoke to someone 30 mins ago and he said perhaps a customer came before me and took the last one. Then I asked to book something for 16th and he said they are all booked tomorrow as well. And the only boat they have for 3 adults and 2 kids is a white single engine, motorboat. I think that boat might be best suited for 2 going on fishing.

Wish they told me over the phone that they are really busy and I wouldn't make a trip.

This place is great. They have great service great prices they deliver exactly what they say they're going to deliver on time. This one guy behind the counter he can be kind of blunt and might seem rude but they really get the job done I have no problem with this. Anytime I need a boat on lake saranac this is the place to go.

Very good quality boats and seamless check out. Just a word of caution for those relying on Uber or taxi service to or from the marina. Arrange pick up because it will cost you 30 bucks for an 8 minute drive back into Saranac lake plus tip. Uber is very very hit or miss.
