Sarku Japan Teriyaki & Sushi Express reviews
21Food is always fast and fresh. Love the to-go containers. There is never a long wait and a good price for a filling meal. Personally I think they overcook the cabbage side dish but it's really not too important. I always get the chicken teriyaki (it's always a delicious bet) so I'm not too sure about the other foods but I'm sure they are good as well.
Overall, I'd say that this is a great economical place to go grab a quick meal. They have Bento boxes. And they also have sides if that's all that you would like to purchase. There's plenty of seating available. There's also plenty of parking available considering that it's located inside a food shopping mall. Well, it's primarily a food shopping mall, but there are many other options for you to take care of your other daily tasks.
But if you like to grab something to eat outside of the average normal American fast food, there is always this wonderful place as an option. There are many reviews that stressed the greatness of this place, which is good. I personally like the idea that I can see the cooks or the food preparers preparing my food as I wait.
The crowd that comes in are usually a trendy crowd. The dress attire is casual. However, you can come as you are. Soon I'll be able to give a review about the other locations around here that offer similar foods and meals. And then maybe I can give it a fair comparison with fellow neighboring stores in the area. In the meantime, keep up the good work. Mo
Pretty standard fast teriyaki place. Completely satisfactory if that is what you are looking for. Don't expect a fine dining restaurant.
I come to this excellent place often because I love the ambiance that is part of this place. The personel is highly friendly and skilfull. The service is awfully quick. Not to mention, the food they prepare is perfect. I have been there more than once and I was always happy. The rate is decent. I suggest this restaurant to all my friends.
When you are tired of junk food this is the spot.get the bento box and don't forget the yum yum sauce!
Tried this place for the first time. Personally I thought the food was kind of bland for the price point. Wouldn't take it off the list but wouldn't be my first choice for this type of food.
Disappointing work ethic. They gave me this expired card to stamp on just to reject the few moment before reaching the free meal.
Maybe I was wrong and got this back in '18. But the second stamp was from last week and last stamp was from yesterday. Why didn't tell me back then? Does this mean they knew it was expired yet enjoyed my mistake for past two visits?: (
After all I will just head to another teriyaki store across the mall. They are selling cheaper than sarku but there are so many people during lunch time. I preferred sarku only because of short line and more tables, but now I guess there is reason why sarku is empty all the time.
Great chain, great food. The sushi is pretty good and fresh. Filling amount of teriyaki and rice/noodles. Some rare locations will cheap out to the max and charge more (city area sarku) but this place uses plastic ware and fills it properly. Always loved coming here over most places around.
Nothing special here, the food is a bit on the sweet side, the price is slightly more expensive and the taste is a bit lacking compared to the competition. Customer service is meh.
Chicken bento. Addicting!
They only got 4 stars because I can only eat there when I'm working in the area. Not there enough.
Staff was amazing, bento boxes are a hot! Sushi wasnt amazing, but if you're craving, this will definitely be enough
The price is cheap. Taste is great. Their chicken is better than the one across from the other side.
This Sarku Japan teriyaki fast food restaurant is located in the mall in flushing. The chicken teriyaki sauce with rice is $6.19 but they use frozen thigh legs instead of chicken breast. Therefore, I don't think it is a value meal.
For being in such a crowded area like Flushing Queens, this restraunt was spacious and clean, food was also nice and hot, and facility was air conditioned.
Food is decent, not too long of a wait. But food seems high in sodium which may be a concern for the health conscious customer. This is based on comparison to Teriyaki One in the same complex which offers very good, healthy menu options.
There's parking, good food, hasn't been packed anytime I've gone.have no negative comments about it.
One of my main places to eat.very good location, well organised, and excellent service. I recommend this place!
Super yummy. Made fresh. Better than all the ones near me. It’s a 15 to 20 minute ride but it’s worth it. Great service!
Changed their containers sizes to smaller containers. Portion sizes are smaller but aren’t reflected in the prices. So your paying more for less essentially. Food tastes good but not worth it when your feeling cheated on portions.
Food was tasty and plenty of seating. The staff was nice overall. Quick place to get something to eat.
