Thrift Store Savers reviews
22Clean. Organized. Walk in looking for nothing and come out holding something. My kind of store.
Love this thrift store. Well organized, good turnover of stock. Cash out lines move fast, good customer service.
Safe and lots to choose from. More expensive than other thrift stores, but good values to be found for sure.
10c for paper bags. No more free bags. Note savers is not a charity. They are a used goods store.
Love shopping at the eggert location except for the rude older lady that wears her gray hair back. EVERY SINGLE TIME she's working she lacks customer service. Her attitude needs to be left outside of this business. Dread being cashed out by her!
Very friendly and good customer service. A lot of varieties to choose from. They have everything you need including Furniture clothing DVDs books china-ware frames toys for kids Electronics balls purses and more. I suggest going here for anything that you need, although you will be getting used purchases, they are well worth the price, there are brand names available
Great place for bargain shoppers. Just be careful to try on clothes. Some clothes are in great condition some not. I bring them hone and wash them. Great place for pants because they are already shrunk.
Fun place to browse for great finds whether it's housewares, books, toys, shoes, purses or of course clothes. Things are pretty neatly organized and clothes are by size which is nice. Prices are reasonable with the exception of the books, I think they are over priced, $2 something for a paperback? ! Although, if you buy 4 books you'll get the 5th free, not that much of a deal to me! And if you spend way too much time browsing, not to worry, they do have a public restroom!
Most of the cashiers are curt and unfriendly.slamming items into the bag, not wrapping breakables and a big huff and puff if you have a coupon
I like going to savers because of the way everything is set up and clearly marked. The store is clean.
Selection is good, kind of dirty, but it's a thrift store, so no big deal. Plan to wait in line for the register for-freaking-ever. Prices are higher than similar stores.
Savers is an updated Amvets store. Very clean, tons of clothes for children and adults, various items some of which look new, some very used. One wall full of bagged items, some containing small toys, various kitchen tools, etc. Very large store. You will probably spend a good time in it.
Really calm mellow place. Sure everything is used and its almost certain you can find something to put use too. I usually go maybe 3x a week to check out new inventory. There were times when i found 2 working GPS. For 5 bucks. It all depends when you go and how much your willing to spend. I typically spend 20 bucks each visit. Plenty of parking in lot. And if you bring in what you dont want or use. They will give you discounts which helps out alot.
Most of the pricees are reasonable, things are easy to find, it's usually clean and friendly/helpful employees
This place used to be great for all sorts of finds. Unfortunately, they've raised their prices and lowered their standards for what they put on the shelf. They are now charging double what other Savers' charge for the same item. They also put out some items that are downright GROSS. After my most recent experience, I will be going to a different location.
SAVERS THRIFT FRAUD.
Type that into your search bar and see what comes up.
Tell your elderly relatives NOT to patronize or "donate" anything to this well-organized charity fraud.
I was in the Savers on Sheridan drive today. I collect old ceramic shoes. I found one on the shelf, however, someone had partially ripped the tag off. I took it to the cashier, and she stated because someone had ripped the tag partially off, it had to be reprocessed. I asked if that could be done, she said not today. I went and found another associate and asked the same question.same answer. I finally asked to speak to whomever was in charge. I explained that I didn't rip the tag off, how far away I lived, and could it be reprocessed while I was shopping? No, it would be reprocessed and put out tomorrow. Have you ever heard of such craziness? I am a customer willing to buy a donated item, and I can't buy it because someone partially ripped off the tag. They could have looked at the tape, and saw that I didn't do anything wrong, but they sure punished me. What a rip off.in every sense of the words
The store is very clean and well organized. Much cleaner and better quality merchandise than most charity thrift shops. The prices are slightly higher than charity shops. Paperback books are only half off full cover price, making them only slightly less expensive than brand new ones at a big box store. The kitchen wares are priced well. The shoes are slightly higher. Seniors gets a discount here.
Has a drive-through donation entrance, makes it very easy to bring goods in and you don't even have to get out of your car.
