I’ve been working at a media company for almost 8 years and Flug was one of our go-to vendors. They also don’t forget about the little guys! Separately I received a grant from the mayors office to produce a short film series and Flug came to the rescue and was able to work with our measly indie budget. They cover both ends of the spectrum and do so with great communication and insight. They are the best!

My go to rental house for Cameras, Lenses, Grip and Electric in NYC. They can deliver and pickup to locations and have saved my Productions on countless occasions.

I have worked closely with the Flug team for almost two years now on demanding corporate projects and on my own small-budget productions and they have always gone above and beyond in fulfilling orders, filling in the blanks and meeting budgetary needs. I recently used Scheimpflug as the rental house for all of my camera, lighting, and grip needs on a narrative short film. My experience working with Flug has been nothing short of extraordinary. Their facility is gorgeous, their equipment is top notch, and everyone at the company is so friendly and accommodating. Kristine was a joy to work with. Moreover, I greatly appreciated Flug’s carefulness and safety measures that they took during COVID. It’s not easy to run a business during a pandemic, but they managed to open safely and efficiently and I could not be more appreciative. As a NY based filmmaker I hope to collaborate with them on many many more projects yet to come.

As a lifelong NYC filmmaker, and IATSE 600 Member, it's hard NOT to have strong opinions about the Rental Houses around NYC. There are the really cheap cheap ones where you get the gear, but not the quality. There are the super luxe ones, where 'rental experts' peer at you judgmentally yet don't have any field experiences. Once, one of these superficial houses rush delivered a wireless camera package to us and didn't include power cables!

Flug is in its own class. I love that you can have a tech or a normal conversation at Flug. The staff there are all smart, relatable people who seem to have an affection for what they do. I also enjoyed attending Flug's social events; fun crowds, creative vibes, good swag/food. They generally have anything I might want in a gear order, and for some of the more bizarre shoot requests, they're always quick to find and present affordable alternatives.

I’ve been using Scheimpflug as my rental house of choice for the past 4 years and I’ve never been disappointed. Excellent condition of gear, reliable and knowledgeable customer service, and good vibes. I’ve been in a few pickles before and Flug has helped me out with a delivery, a discounted price, or just a helping hand. Much more than just a standard rental house, Flug is a community of filmmakers and creatives that are able to assist with the hurdles of production!

I've used Flug for 5+ years and they are far and beyond my favorite equipment vendor in NYC. They are on top of their game with services and they go out of their way to make sure every EQ order is handled perfectly.
