Schlessinger Eye & Face, Woodbury NY

It has been 7 weeks since Dr. Schlessinger did blepharoplasty on my upper eyelids. All my bruising is just about gone. I looked like I went a few rounds with Mike Tyson. I can finally say it was definitely worth having the procedure done by Dr. Schlessinger, who is an expert in his field. I can see so much better. I have eyelids now!
I highly recommend Dr. Schlessinger. I went for 3 consultations before being recommended to him. All 3 left me feeling uneasy and I was told I might need the surgery over again because they could not guarantee my eyes would be symmetrical. WHAT! I was so upset. After the 3rd consultation with a doctor that was recommended from my family
ophthalmologist, I gave social media my last try before not having the surgery done that was needed. I lucked out when someone who use to work for Dr. Schlessinger reached out and told me he was amazing. I made my appointment the next day and booked my surgery that same appointment. I must say that person was so right! I am so thankful I reached out to social media and found Dr. Schlessinger.
One thing I definitely recommend to anyone having blepharoplasty surgery is DO NOT look on the internet to see pictures of what people look like after a few days or weeks. They are not true. It took about 4 weeks before I could go out without glasses on. I didn't really have any bad pain. When my stitches had to come out I was nervous because I had a lot of blood stuck between them. Natosha was so gentle and took her time taking them out and cleaning them up.
I would recommend Dr. Schlessinger and his staff if you are considering any kind of eye surgery.
If you want perfection, Dr. Schlessinger is the doctor to see.

Dr. Schlessinger and staff are exceptional in their kindness and care! Being comfortable through my laser treatment and attention to detail was stellar! If you have acne scars avoid this doctor because he could cause more damage than you already have at your own expense not only that but when you visit them they have the confidence as if they have dealt with a lot of acne scar patients but they mostly do face enhancements four older women.anyways now after one visit with dr. Schlessinger I have burned indentation on my face that are pretty much permanent and I had my treatment several months ago

I had two extremely small cysts right on the corner of my eye. Dr. Schlessinger surgically removed them during the same appointment. There's an OR in the office. The numbing injection was painless. All staff were extremely professional.

Very good experience at Schlessinger Eye & Face. Everyone was extremely professional. They thoroughly explained each aspect of the procedure and I knew what to expect. Everything was immaculately clean. Recovery was exactly as explained. I highly recommend Dr. Schlessinger

My consultation was excellent. Dr. Schlessinger was extremely passionate and comforting. I was extremely nervous and putting off this visit for quit sometime and he made the visit very relaxing. I didn’t have to wait hours to see him. I was greeted the moment I got there. He set up my surgery for the following week which I am extremely grateful for. His assistant was extremely helpful and courteous. And the receptionist were a delete and knowledgeable. I am very pleased and happy. Very pleasant first consult- office & Dr Schlessinger were all warm friendly & professional- they put me at ease regarding an eye procedure- just thinking if it’s personally something I can afford but if I can proceed there is no question I would use this office.

It was just a consultation and office visit to fix another surgeons issue but it went very positive. Everyone was professional polite and I left feeling confident my issue will be corrected properly

Dr Schlessinger and his team are incredible. Grade A! His staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. Dr. Schlessinger is one of a kind! There aren’t many surgeons out there who are so meticulous and dedicated to helping others. He’s this family’s super-hero!

Can’t say enough good things about this Dr and the staff. Very professional and short wait time. I have gotten a surgical cosmetic procedure and fillers with Dr Schlessinger and he was just purely amazing. Extremely good bed side manner. He goes over in detail on what he is going to do and what kind of results to expect. He does NOT push any products or treatments on you unlike some other doctors and is genuinely a good person. I have recommended him to all my friends and will continue to go to him for all my “touch ups” and cosmetic procedures if I decide to do more in the future. He is truly a master at his work you will not be disappointed.

My experience was excellent. The staff was very professional and courteous and the doctor was very good. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

This doctor was rude to me and my family. He even yelled at my mother! He did surgery on my brother's eye which became infected, only after he said it was not.and when asked why a skin graft was not done.well, he acted like I wanted his annual income. Today, months later, the eye has "drooped" and hopefully he doesn't loose that eye. Thanks for nothing!

Dr. Schlessinger and the staff are wonderful. It's nice to know that I'm receiving excellent medical care for my vision.

I had Lazer (IPL) treatment yesterday which was the first out of a 3 treatment plan. The office staff is very kind, the office is clean and the doctor is a super nice guy! I also had my first Botox shot between my eyebrow and love it!

Extremely professional. I had a procedure done and a follow up. Both times I was taken in at my appointment time, Dr. S was thorough and professional.

From the front desk to the nurses and Dr Schlessinger himself, this place is a well oiled machine. Everyone has superb communication skills and could not be nicer - that's a wonderful combination. I highly recommend to anyone with chalasian that needs to be removed. I was petrified and they helped me through every step. Thanks to all!

So far, I only have positive things to say about Dr. Schlessinger and his staff. To be honest, I was concerned about going there for my eye surgery based on several negative reviews out there. However, my referring ophthalmologist reassured me that I would be in excellent hands with Dr. Schlessinger.
Contrary to the complaints, I have ALWAYS found the office staff to be courtesy and professional. On most visits, I had minimal wait times. The one time the office was backed up, Dr. Schlessinger was very apologetic and still gave me all the time I needed to ask questions.
He made sure that I was comfortable and well-informed about the procedure I was there for and reassured me that any corrections, if any, that needed to be done post surgery would be covered. The co-ordination of the surgery from insurance approvals to scheduling was seamless. Pam was amazing and very supportive.
With that, my advice is to remember that it is important to be patient and wait for your eyes to fully heal. I will be returning in January for my one year followup and am fully confident that Dr. Schlessinger will take care of any tweaks that may need to be done to ensure the best outcome for my eyes.
