I think with my case i couldn't ask for better help with long overdue issues.his staff is very kind and it may happen that the "Boss" himself will prepare Cupcakes for his patients.

Though procedures at Periodontists may be painful and uncomfortable it is Doctors like him who seem to make the difference, when it comes to the personal touch.

Dr Scott Froum is very capable and knowledgable. He is generous with his time and explain things to you the best possible way. I'm so glad that I found him.

Had an implant that broke about 10 years ago. The implant has caused me massive pain in my gum and surrounding teeth ever since. I have been to several dentists/oral surgeons and due to the implant sitting just above a facial nerve no one would attempt to remove it. The most relief I got was a custom bridge that was built by my Dentist that was raised so it didn’t touch my gum and apply any pressure where the broken implant was buried. That worked for several years but eventually the teeth around the implant started to hurt. I swore it was from the implant but I was told no and root canal was done. Unfortunately I was still in pain. I took it upon myself to research implants that no one wants to remove and luckily I found Dr Froum! He said it wouldn’t be easy as the implant sat on a nerve in my face but if it meant no more pain I was willing to take the chance. Surgery day was tough for him (I felt nothing!) as it was closer to the nerve than anticipated and the implant had also started to disintegrate (it was over 30 years old) but he got it all out and I’m THRILLED TO SAY I’M NOW PAIN FREE! If you’ve been told you have an implant that can’t be removed RUN don’t walk to Dr Froum!

Four years ago I was hit in the mouth by a metal fire hose coupling, breaking three of my teeth. I have a great dentist and surgeon who got everything structurally fixed, but I was left with pain that they couldn’t explain or understand. In desperation to find an answer, I started reading everything I could online and found Dr Froum. I decided to travel from Texas to NYC to see if he had an answer for me. I’ve been to 2 of the planned 3 treatments and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to finally find some relief. Everyone in his office is friendly and professional. Dr Froum is patient with my lack of understanding about my own pain - explaining the causes and the suggested treatment. My treatment included laser and platelet therapy. At first I wasn’t sure that it had helped - I started out skeptical, but hopeful. Now that I’m healed I am 100% sure that I am in less pain and I’m hopeful my pain will be gone completely once all the treatments are complete. I recommend Dr Froum very highly and will always be grateful to him and his staff for helping me - literally changing my life by removing pain from it.

Caring, listens to your concerns and gives several options to fix the problem. Working towards a solution to help fix an issue I’ve had for several years that no one else wanted to fix.

Dentist visits have never been easy for me. It was my wife who had implants done convinced me to pay Dr. Froum a much needed visit. Your greeted by a friendly yet professional staff, but most
importantly it is Dr. Froum’s you can sense experience, and good hand that puts you at ease.
For the first time in my life a much needed visit as stated before was a pleasant experience.

Excellent dentist, hygienists, and staff! After 20 years living in NYC, Scott Froum’s office is my official go to place for oral hygiene. Their office has been enhanced for COVID.

Edit: it’s clear by Froum’s response that I struck a nerve by pointing out that the reviews on here are fake. He knows exactly who I am. Do not fall for his trickery.

The reviews on here must be fake. They cancel your appointments at the last minute and then charge you ($1000) when you can’t make their suggested re scheduling time. Extremely rude people. Also they don’t adhere to COVID guidelines, I will be filing a complaint with the authorities

The entire staff is efficient, friendly, and extremely competent.
Going to the dentist is the top 5 of my least favorite things to have to do,
but after completing numerous visits, I can say that was never my
experience with Dr. Froum and his staff.

I always feel at ease at Dr. Froum's office; the staff is very professional, gentle and well informed; Dr. Froum is interested in your progress and is more cautious than aggressive in recommending additional procedures. He takes the time to explain what's happening (to the extent you are interested) and is optimistic about continued progress. During pandemic, their office is safe with temperature checks, additional fans, etc. Very impressive periodontist and staff

It must have been the most pleasant visit to the dentist I've ever had! Everyone was patient and friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend doctor Froum, and his wonderful staff.

I highly recommend Dr. Froum! I had laser crown lengthening done and 2 implants. He has amazing skills and did a beautiful, precise job. I can't thank Dr Froum enough, and of course my cosmetic dentist Dr Wei who recommended Dr. Froum!

I went to the office on a recommendation from my verbal General dentist Dr. Abetnathy. Dr l. Froum is personable, and thorough. The office location is easy to get to, clean, the staff is very friendly as a extremely. I have a procedure on Thursday, I'll come back and update

I went to Dr. Froum for two extractions. Dr. Froum made me feel very comfortable and everything went well. The office personnel were very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Froum for periodontal work of any kind. He's a true professional.

I arrived an hour early and they took me in right away. After the procedure I received detailed instructions on my aftercare. Definitely would recommend Dr. Froum.

Froum is incompetent and very dishonest and unfortunately I fell for the fake reviews here, trusting him to do an unnecessary and expensive procedure so that he can "save my teeth". He did not save my teeth and he actually did damage, costing me nearly 10K out of pocket. I had bone grafts put in by Froum a few years ago, at a very young age due to juvenile periodontitis. He insisted that this was necessary and very urgent, otherwise I was certain to lose several teeth. I hesitated thinking I would get a second opinion but he said any periodontist would recommend this procedure and I needed it immediately. Turns out, other periodontists I've seen in the past couple of years would not have viewed it as urgent and they believe his work did not help at all- after reviewing all the x-rays they're not sure what he even did because there is zero improvement. One suggested I go back to him to ask for some money back but he doesn't seem like the type of doctor who would even be open to that conversation. Not only did his work not help me, my gumline was also damaged right after the procedure, and to this day it looks worse than before. He was also dishonest about throwing in a "free year of cleanings" to sell the procedure- as soon as I had new insurance he started charging even though I could've saved that money for other procedures/end of year cleanings (I would've run out of insurance money for the aggressive cleaning schedule he was pushing). He and his assistant Kyle were extremely rude when I asked to not charge for the cleanings as they had promised. Do not trust Froum. Tons of good periodontists in nyc who do not rely on fake reviews.

Very comforting setting, great people and an overall amazing experience. I was very particular about my dentist and now I’m not anymore!

From your initial appointment through your treatment you are treated with care and professionalism. Doctor Froum and his staff are amazing, I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience has been.

Incredible dentist! I had a difficult implant problem and two of my local dentists were having trouble fixing. I researched the issue and found that Dr Froum has published many articles and written textbooks on implant failures. So I made the 2 hour trip up from Philadelphia and couldn’t be more pleased. He took the time and courtesy to contact my dentist. Diagnosed and fix the problem the same day! Will definitely be back for my future implant care!
