A true hidden gem with a marvelous "great hall". Puts Queens on the cultural map together with MoMA PS1 and the Noguchi Museum. Wonderful current exhibition by Berlin-based Henrike Naumann. Read the exhibition flyer to get the full meaning of the show.

Was hoping this would make up for the MoMA PS1 down the street, but alas - not a single sculpture in sight. If it's a contemporary experiences space why not name it that instead?

Free, small-ish medium-ish museum that used to be an old factory. It's very worth the visit if you are in the area and love the arts, especially sculptures and short films. There is also a small shop that sells art books.

I am not a big fan of modern art and this place is enjoyable because it isn't filled with too much of it. And it's free.

I’ve been following the sculpture center for a couple years and finally made the trip to Long Island so I could visit in person. I was not disappointed. What a great space. I enjoyed the exhibition I saw while I was there. Great staff.

They have an incredible exhibition space but I think the art shown could be much better. I don’t feel they take advantage of the possibilities of the building

Amazing museum. Art pieces are very unpredictable throughout the museum which is what makes it so interesting. The museum is also free which is excellent if you are on a budget

Wonderful urban oasis to indulge in sculpture works. Admission is free and just need to make reservation online. Highly recommend to check this place out when you’re in LIC.

Features very interesting artworks from relatively unknown or up and coming artists. Very unique architecture and a very unique building. If you are a fan underground and provocative art, this should be on your list!
