Sea Shore Restaurant, Bronx NY

Great meal. The sole and shrimp were tasty. The oysters with spinach were good. The Calamari was great with their sauce. Would def go again. Great spot on City Island.

The indoor space is comfortable and inviting, but the food falls short of satisfying standards. There is ample room for improvement in the taste of the food. However, the service and other aspects are satisfactory.

My coworkers got together at this seafood restaurant, I don't eat seafood but I wanted to be in the reunion, they also served bbq ribs and chicken so I ordered a plate, ribs were OK, but the chicken a one piece of leg was horrible no taste and super dried the inside, the small portion of ribs and one piece of chicken $35 dollars, not worth it. Place is neat, elderly crowd, drinks were decent, on site valet parking only, I learned my lesson seafood restaurant is for seafood lovers, anything else go somewhere else.

Came here for a birthday and was so happy to see the table set with balloons, so sweet! While the food was great, can't say the same about our waiter. It seems due to the mandatory tip (our party was 8) he knew he was getting a mandatory tip and his service was rude. He seemed to rush, rolled his eyes a few times, and overall had a rude attitude. Did not appreciate such service at such an expensive restaurant!

Had linguine with Calamari, lacking seasoning. Food severed on chip plates. Took a long time to get drinks.

I love coming to the sea shore restaurant. The staff is phenomenal, the food is exquisite, the decor is out of this world. Beautiful location to see the sea. That stuffed swordfish. Preach! Baked potatoes are meh, but you're not here for potato. Bread plate is addictive.

A wonderful place to eat and drink. Conveniently situated on City Island in the Bronx, New York. There is plenty of parking available for free. The tables and booths at the rear of the restaurant give idyllic views of the marina.

The food was delicious with the exception of the bake potatoes a little hard but the shrimps was so good their desert is great too the waiters are amazing

Laverne is the best waitress. We ask for her every time we come. She goes above and beyond her job.

The clam chowder was pretty runny, no flavor. Had the best clam chowder on the warf in Monterey now that was some of the best yet.

Went here with my father and my wife to celebrate our soon to be born child. It was a very good experience and our server a young Ethiopian fellow sorry I forgot his name but he was excellent. The food could have been a little more seasoned but the fresh seafood couldnt be beaten.

Wow! Times have changed! I remembered eating here years ago and I wasn't so impressed. But I took a chance again to celebrate my cousin's birthday and boy was I pleased! Food was much better than I remembered. Prices were in a nice range as well. Will return soon.

I ordered Penny vodka didn’t taste good at all. I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my 30th dollars I should’ve just traveled to Carmines in Manhattan and my food Would it taste really good! The girl who answers the phone had bad customer service I should have known! Before Covid their food was good

Food is great. I always call this place “Magda’s. ” This server is amazing. She been here over 20 years. I come here for her.
