Seasoning Thai Bistro Webster

This has to be when I'm the most disappointing restaurant experience I have had in a long time, maybe they have good food but unfortunately when they are unable to cook it for you, you never get to try it.
After returning home from the holidays in Connecticut last week, I obviously did not want to cook and someone suggested that I try Thai Bistro. After placing my order told me to arrive at 6: 44 p.m. 30 minutes later so I got there at 6: 45. I was told it would be 10 more minutes, ok no problem. However, I then waited out in my car for 10 minutes, then inside for 10 minutes. After witnessing two more people come in and being told that it would be 10 or 15 more minutes for their order and it already being 7: 15 p.m. I asked the girl working the front counter for a refund, I would go somewhere else (got a text at 8: 17pm that my order was ready).
At this point she told me that, and I know this is not her fault, the owner has to do all the refunds and it takes 3 days until I have still received no refund, I even called on Thursday and spoke to a manager and gave them all the current information which he hadn't previously known about. So obviously if I didn't call I never was going to get the money. I will update this once I do get my refund because I will get it but I have to say that the unprofessional behavior of not being able to provide refunds when you cannot provide the product is just unreal to me.

Fantastic food.but they routinely get overwhelmed by take out and dine in orders.so your order is often delayed.but the food is worth it.beware asking for any level of heat. I feel the ratings and actual heat are inconsistent.best to order not Spicy and keep a stash of chili garlic sauce at home

Unfortunately I have had 2 negative instances with ordering. First experience was ordered through door dash and the driver realized the staff had given him the wrong order half way through the delivery and had to turn around to switch it out. On the second go around, the online ordering reported "unavailable" and when directly calling Tai Bistro for a delivery via phone, I was successfully prompted by a door dash notification that the food was being picked up. After over an hour with no update, I reached out directly to door dash and they explained the staff had incorrectly labeled the food for take out and they did not allow him to pick up the food for delivery. When attempting to rectify the situation, we were told we needed to drive and pick it up ourselves. Staff also reported that they did not do anything wrong and therefore did not offer any discounts or add ons for the inconvenience. The food itself had good flavor, but something needs to be done to get the orders correct!

Yum yum. Love the the red curry. I like it spicy and they delivered. I've only had takeout, ordering was easy and was ready early.

First time ordering there. Was sad that the phat Thai was not good. It was over cooked and very dry. No flavor. The papaya salad and fresh spring rolls were good though. Will try the curry next time

Let me start by saying the food was fantastic! Some of the best Thai food in the Rochester area.

The servers were friendly and helpful, without being overbearing.

The atmosphere was delightful. Quiet, understated, comfortable.

Will be coming back for sure!

Quaint little place, nice atmosphere. Food has always been plentiful. The staff is friendly and provides great service. My no. 1 for Thai food.

UPDATE 9/1/23- Tonight we had reservations at this restaurant for dinner. We were seated at once and the young man waiter was very attentive but obviously new as our entrees arrived right on top of our tom yum soup and fried calamari. The soup tasted fine, but we ordered the veggie selection, which was full of giant slices of raw zucchini, and what must of been old oversized dried up carrot slices (which neither of us like, despite it being abundant and cheap). Additionally, it was barely warm. All of the veggies in both of our selections were giant sized. From the broccoli to the peppers. In hindsight, we should have ordered knifes as well (although having to cut up my soup veggies would have been a first). My stir fry tofu was very good, although my guest's stir fry lemon grass chicken proved to be mediocre and loaded with salt. This was our first trip back since being treated very rudely about a year ago. We both felt that the event was an employee error so gave it one more try. Tonight my guest became ill with indigestion several hours after eating there whereas I was fine. Either way, it's an expensive way to learn a lesson.

ONE Year AGO- due to C19. Price is average, service is excellent. Inside, it's spotless, however, seating might be limited on a busy night so plan ahead.

Food is fantastic! The best Thai in Webster (possibly ROC?) I get the Green Curry & Pad Thai. We get it to go, so haven't really experienced the service. Strange atmosphere from the looks of it, it's like it wants to be fine dining, but I don't know if I would necessarily go for a nice private romantic date?

We have eaten take out and dine in from this place many times. It does not disappoint! The medium is incredibly spicy so be careful how you order! Interior is simple and clean and feels great to sit and talk.

I normally call for take out orders from work at the Henrietta location and absolutely love the pineapple chicken fried rice! I was excited to see another location in Webster, we were looking for a place to eat before seeing a movie so this was so convenient. I love the atmosphere and how clean and modern the inside of the restaurant is. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was so friendly.

Spicy and amazing! The thai spicy level did not disappoint! Will definitely be coming back:)

This place is amazing! I went there with my friend for the first time and food was authentic. I ordered to go for my husband, he loved it that he went there the next day on his lunch break. We are planning to go back soon. The staff are very professional too.

Went to have a late lunch. Was greeted immediately. The food came fast! It looked great and tasted even better! Service was fantastic. Will return again soon!

A true gem in Webster.
So much flavor in each meal we have had here.
Staff and the atmosphere were great.

Have lived near this place for a while now and wish we had found it sooner. The Tom Yum soup is my favorite! It's the best.

We had a party of 13 for a birthday celebration and the staff, service, and food were all tremendous. Many in our party were first timers and real foodies and they were very impressed with their fresh and delicious dishes. The servers, Patti and Dean, went out of their way to help set things up for a festive evening and a great time was had by all! The food is exceptional!

It's apparent that the food is freshly made to order. The flavors are incredible and it's enough food for two meals. Highly recommend the lunch menu, as you will receive soup or a dumpling complimentary. Pad Thai, papaya salad are delicious.

Poor service, felt rushed. Staff mopping floors while still finishing meal. Unfortunate, as food was tasty.
