Bar Sek'end Sun reviews
11Pretty sad to think about how beautiful this space used to be - now it looks like a Dallas sports bar. Food and drinks are decent, but man…RIP Pegu club.
I had brunch here and it was absolutely delicious. The omelette and the French toast was deliciously well made. I also enjoyed the spiked rosemary lemonade. I highly recommend this place.
This is my go to bar when my friend and I want to go somewhere close to home. The drinks are good, the service is great, and the food is yummy! What my husband and I especially love is when we order the shishito peppers, you get a whole big plate of them! Which is so wonderful because most places give you a small plate of maybe like 5-10.
Immaculate vibes. Extremely red in their outside eating area at night, but after you get used to it you like it. It might be a little loud inside if it's a DJ night, but you can go outside for a light break from the noise.
Had to give them 5 starts for their customer service. I live in the area and showed up for a drink after a particularly rough day (con Edison had mistakenly shut off my electricity) Kat was working and was so friendly and a good time! I initially showed up alone, but she made me feel like we were old friends. I had never been in this bar before, but honestly I don’t know what I was waiting for - the vibes are good, the drinks reasonably priced, and the staff all with big smiles. What more could you ask for! Food was also good. I’ll definitely be back with more friends to this local spot!
Alvian and Juan crushed it as bartenders. I was feeling sad when I came in, and they turned my night around. The both of them are nice, caring, and funny. I would absolutely reccomend this bar to friends. 10/10.
Great local bar with lots of space, great staff, & a good selection of food. The bar has a lot of seats, there are a few cozy booths, tables in the back, & a backyard. Drinks were good & I was able to play games with friends in the back on a Friday night.
One of the best rustic restaurants/bar in Queens. This place has a backyard set up as well to enjoy with a larger crowd. Perfect place to grab creative cocktails and just to chill in the back patio. Perfect in the fall time as well, as they serve seasonal drinks including hard apple cider, Hot Toddies, etc. Good place to pregame and chat
Awful experience, ordered the mule and there was no liquor and the ginger beer essentially tasted like lime water. The waitress was incredibly inattentive.
The service here is just nonexistent. We arrived as a group of 8 to celebrate a small birthday gathering. It was fairly empty when we arrived on a Sunday evening. We ordered drinks at the bar and sat in the back (inside). About 45 minutes later, a DJ started setting up and a whole salsa lesson ensued completely ramming the back, shoulder to shoulder with people, cool. You think they would have just mentioned this little important piece of information so we would have planned differently? Just feels like no one is paying attention at this place, almost as if it runs itself with no supervision.
Very bad attention, they don't like animals. Since I went with my cat and in a derogatory way they told me to retire since they don't accept animals, what they shouldn't do is accept people like them. And if they do not admit animals, they must indicate it on a sign at the entrance since we enter and settle down at one of the tables and then be evicted, I am disrespectful. If I could give them 0 stars, I would give them to them
