Selby Transportation Corporation, Bronx NY

One of their drivers on bus 1307 was recklessly driving on a busy street. When I told the driver to slow down, she cursed me out and blamed me for "not looking. " I called the company to file a complaint, and the operator was no better. She yelled at me for expressing my concerns and transferred my call to Jose in the investigations department before I could finish my sentence. Extremely rude! Not everyone should be allowed to work with our children. This is a complete disgrace, and I hope it was not swept under the rug.

Wreckless drivers. Seen many drivers speeding on the NYC bus lane on Webster Ave to pass traffice on actual traffic lane and at stop lights so that when light turns green they speed across the intersection to pass cars on the correct lane.
Parents I pray for your children's safety.

Treated me and my child very poorly. A women named Beatriz who puts the child on the bus was really rude over the phone the day prior warning me about a earlier pick up time. The day of, the Bus was no where to be seen in front of my residence. (They we’re a couple yards away from view of our lobby). It was raining and I wasn’t planning on leaving my two years old outside waiting for the school bus arrival and with no warning as well. I don’t recommend this company at all unless you plan your child missing school daily. The management never contacted me when they said they would and when you call the main line they put you on hold for an hour until you see they just don’t want to deal with you. Hopefully their HR department can call back in regards to such POOR management and awful employee

Horrible. My child was being bullied, the bus matron on N-188 "Samantha"the knew abt it and said nothing.then they switched his bus with out me having any knowledge of it, due to that he missed a few days, they are just unprofessional.

Do not use this company. It’s a joke they don’t deserve one star. My child spent 3h on the bus because of the issue that could be resolved within 30 min. Their buses are falling apart.

Driver doesn't speak when picking up my daughter. Gives rudes looks aside I owe her something. But the matron is very nice.
Driver needs to address parents while the have people kids

There are 2 "special ed"school buses from Selby that pick up 2 of my kids. The matron & bus operator from one of the busses are professional and caring. The matron is highly trained and knows how to manage the kids on her bus. She is very courteous, respectful and communicates very well with people. However, the other so called special Ed bus that pick up my other child, who is autistic, both the matron & bus operator are totally unprofessional, uncaring, have no communication skills and are a truly bad example of their company. These two employee individuals should receive intense refresher/retraining in dealing with children with special needs. I will not mention their route or names because I have reported them multiple times to Dept. Of Pupil Transportation. But I want Selby transportation and the public to know that some, not all, of your/ these employees are poorly trained with children that have special needs, especially children who are in the spectrum with autism. As a grandparent and parent I have noticed a decline in school bus personnel professionalism & courteousy. Now, there are parents, guardians, grandparents, etc, etc, that are disrespectful towards the bus operators & Matrons and I'm aware of those issues and those issues should be address accordingly ASAP, however, those problems should not be taken out on the children. Selby transportation should start investigating these incidents more closely and begin to scrutinize the matron & bus operators that have complaints against them and all of them should be obligated to take intense refresher courses in handling children with special needs.

Horrible service they took long to answer a simple called, most of the drivers didn’t want to have any communication with the parents by the way the dispatchers they not even nice through the phone took me more than 20min to connact them

The people that drive for this company are reckless. One bus cut me off almost crashed into me with kids on the bus and my kids in my car just so he could make the light not knowing elder people were crossing. And yes I toke down the license plate date and time there’s no need for them to be driving again reckless with kids in the bus.

I love Selby transportation the people who run this place are some of the nicest people I've ever met and this is one of the best jobs I ever had

Driver is like in his house texting from his couch while driving in the FDR right now and a gap on front of him but his not paying attention at all therefore his making traffic. Bus LK1704
