A tree fell onto my home. I called sensible choice. Mike and rob came out. They were involved every step of the way. Whether it be with filing permits, dealing with architect, engineer or my insurance company. They kept me informed and had my roof and rafters, deck and the interior damage that was caused from the impact of the tree. This could of been more stressful had I not chosen this company as they put my mind at ease.

We had a large fire and extensive water damage. It was very overwhelming for my family. These guys came in, helped us with all of our belongings, cleaned up, reached an agreement with our insurance company and our house is better than new and in record time. I highly recommend them for any catastrophic event! Bravo!

Our condo suffered extensive water damage from a massive leak that affected 6 floors in our building. It took months to process all the insurance claims. We were displaced from our home and all of our belongings were placed in storage during this stressful period.
After interviewing several contractors, my wife and I chose Sensible Choice. We are glad we did. In addition to the extensive insurance-related work, we elected to upgrade our kitchen and replace a tub with a walk-in shower.
Mike Bonfiglio, the head of Sensible Choice, was extremely helpful to us throughout the entire project which he completed on-time and within budget. Mike provided valuable guidance on the many choices before us in the planning stage. Whenever any unexpected issues emerged during the restoration, we appreciated how Mike always addressed these in a forthright and expeditious manner. We would highly recommend Sensible Choice Contracting.

Do NOT use them! They entice you with a low quote, but they use shoddy materials. I found this out the hard way. In Oct. 2012, Hurricane Sandy caused a tree to fall & smash our deck. Since the repair is covered by our homeowners' insurance, I called Travelers Insurance Co, who recommended Sensible Choice. Just 6 years later, most of the deck has to be replaced. Why? The wood used by Sensible Choice is all rotted out. A reliable contractor explained that the wood used by Sensible Choice should only be used for indoors, not outdoors. The proper wood for outdoors is more expensive. Using this company is an example of false economy. It cost me $13,000 to learn this. Don't be fooled by them.

Back in 2017 I had a leak at my house that went from the second floor, through our kitchen on the main floor, and into my finished basement, causing extensive damage. My insurance provider recommended Sensible Choice and I couldn’t be happier. Mike and his crew were very helpful, thoughtful, and did great work on both the restoration and repairs. Definitely would recommend using them

Horrible company they promise the best and deliver the worst I used them from insurance company I would highly recommend not using them the quality of service is unsatisfactory they use substandard materials are unprofessional and unqualified. If your insurance company recommends them reconsider using them and question the adjuster Stay away from Sensible choice and save yourself aggravation

I was referred to sensible choice through my insurance company. Let me tell you, They were the Best. They handled water and mold restoration that we endured, and they handled all the building repairs. From the start to the end Mike was easy to get a hold of and explained the process and how everything would go I made a “Sensible” choice hiring sensible choice construction. This is a one shop company for all your needs. I.have since referred them to friends and family.
