Senza Gluten by Jemiko Certified Gluten Free Cafe & Bakery reviews
17 Awesome food and really cool people! We ate the Avocado Toast and the Pancakes and it was really delicious!
Inside the shop is a little bakery where we also bought velvet muffins, cinnamon buns and much more
Absolutely worth a visit!
Had a wonderful date night at Senza Gluten. The staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive.
Went in with a friend for a warm drink while waiting for another friend. The staff was friendly and attentive. The place was small but they had outdoor seatings.
The wait staff was amazing. I order the tiramisu. It was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent.
Family had a wonderful breakfast. Pancakes, French Toast and Avocado Toast. Portions were generous. Service was attentive and friendly.
Cozy and quiet with excellent service and great food. The portions were really really nice for the price, we had indoor seating with a cute booth by the window.
Nice italian gluten free restaurant.
Cash only or Amex. Good service
Edit- I know that there Is a confusion with another shop, but I was there with you and eat an quiche with fries thanks for the service
Great. It is for people with Celiac - the whole backery is gluten free.
Very polite and excelent food.
While the cinnamon roll we had here was delicious, I would highly recommend that you do NOT come at 9am if you are hoping to get fresh baked goods instead of a sit-down brunch. We were super excited to try their baked goods and have been following them on social media for months, but when we arrived a little past opening (9: 15am or so), we were really disappointed to see that every item in their bakery case was individually packaged in plastic. One of the best parts about a bakery is that you get to eat FRESH baked goods - I understand that they offer shipping, and I imagine they wrap everything to make it easier to ship out, but it was really off-putting and nothing seemed fresh. We have been fortunate enough to try dedicated GF bakeries all over the US and Europe, and have never seen a bakery counter where everything was wrapped up like that. It felt like a supermarket. When we asked the waiter if they had any of the unique items that are only available in-store (pastries like bombolini, tiramisu, fresh cinnamon rolls), the waiter acted very annoyed and said that they had lots of items available, although none of the ones we inquired about, and said we should look in the bakery case (which we had, and where everything was wrapped in plastic). We ended up waiting 20+ min for Bombolini to be ready and 45 minutes for cinnamon rolls to come out. Both were delicious, but it was really awkward interacting with the waiter who seemed so annoyed and had no idea when the bakers would be done making today's baked goods. I'd recommend coming later in the day if you are hoping for baked goods that are not wrapped up! Still super bummed that we couldn't try the tiramisu.
Great to find a place that are focused on gluten free cooking. When we were there they only accepted cash and Amex.
Celiac safe, cute atmospheric cafe with a good range of typical cafe fare (the other Senza Gluten resto has the Italian fare). Recommended!
Had a prosciutto panini. There was barely any prosciutto on it. But the bread and pesto were good. Very nice waiter
Really great bakery! First time I've seen a Gluten Free eclair, among many other GF options.
Note for those making reservations: this is the bakery, *not* the Italian restaurant at 206 Sullivan. The Italian restaurant is just named "Senza Gluten". We made that mistake.
Best gluten free cinnamon rolls I've ever had! Once I discovered this place I made sure to visit every day I was in town. The service is shockingly exceptional as well.
Brunch - blueberry pancakes: these were the tastiest and fluffiest gf pancakes I’ve ever had. Took tiramisu to go, also the tastiest gf tiramisu I’ve ever had (not overly sweet, no industrial taste, moist and full of flavor). Worth the price!
Hands down the best gluten free baked goods I’ve ever tasted. The people are also the absolute sweetest! I wish I lived here so I could come back more often.
Supermarket quality. Got the fried doughnut, was similar in taste and texture of day old white bread. Cream filling was ok. Sides were mixed bag - chicken was flavorless, spongy, and watery. Avocado and prosciutto were fine. Side of bread was not good to ok. African tea was great. Overall not worth it unless desperate for gluten free pastries.
