Cosmetics Store SEPHORA reviews
17I called the pittsford Victor store to inquire about a product. The staff who answered she said no, they did not have the product in the store. After telling the staff member, online stated the product was at your store. She then asked for the name of the product I was looking for. That means she was telling me no just to get me off the phone. Rude!
I bought a contour product here and was not satisfied with it as it was too light for me. I am new to contour so I came back on Saturday June 10 and asked for assistance - the lovely person who helped me spent about 5 minutes with me going through the various shades and picking out what they thought would be best for me. The shade we decided on was out of stock, but they checked through the drawers for me anyway. I did not catch their name, but they had long black hair and a black tattoo sleeve. I then went to the cashier to return the product I bought initially, and they were so helpful and kind! The cashier’s name was Maria. I was very pleased with this experience as a whole - Sephora usually stresses me out as it is so busy and chaotic, but these two employees went above and beyond for me and made my experience great!
Was offered a facial! So nice. Tons of products and plenty of helpful knowledgeable staff. Lots of fun!
Usually I love this Victor store at Eastview mall and I have a great experience. However two staff members were very off putting and one answered my question with her back turned to me and seemed very bothered when I asked them a question. I was there with my kids and I was probably a little distracted by them, but I like to think I am overly respectful when asking questions to any employees. I don’t expect any special treatment anywhere I go but I also don’t expect to leave my typically fun moment for myself feeling put down. This poor attitude was not the same for everyone at the store. One woman was very kind and personable and was the reason I bought an out of stock foundation online!
Hello, today I went to this Sephora most of the staff here were very nice and respectful especially this one guy. I bought around 6 items and my friend bought some stuff too. She went to one cashier I went to the other. The lady I got was unnecessarily rude to me. She gave me an attitude and sas And I was being as respectful as a could. I am a teenager and when I was handing her money she kinda got upset I’m not sure why. And I was eligible for a birthday gift but I never received one and got a email about it. She also never asked if I wanted a bag or gave me one, and it wasn’t that busy so she was not in a rush. And because I did not receive a bag I ended up dropping something I bought and it ended up breaking. Very nice store just a bad experience! Z
Very helpful and informative staff; Destiny from Victor NY guided me through Sephora like a beauty fairy.
I went to Sephora and the worker tried a concealer on me and he obviously used a dirty brush because a couple days later I got pink eye. I got pink eye on the eye he put the product on. I am extremely disappointed they used dirty brushes on my face and now my thanksgiving is ruined since I cannot wear make up on my eyes. It is so embarrassing and I just want to make this post to warn people to NOT let the workers put products on you! They are very unsanitary and they don’t properly clean their brushes!
Everyone who works there really seems to enjoy working there and are strongly passionate about make up. A lovely employee with light blue dyed hair was extremely knowledgeable on skin types and new which tinted moisturizer would work best for me.
A little underwhelmed as I needed product suggestions and the staff was busy talking amongst themselves and on their phones. I was going to spend a lot of money, but ended up not doing so.
One of the very few stores by colognes for men. Especially the tote sampled. With 10 different samples and a card to allow you to own an actual bottle.
Affordable prices, great selection & knowledgeable employees. They help me match my daughter's shade of make-up. That's huge in my book.
The one in Eastview mall has a lot more products to find than the JCPenny versions, but it's a long ride there from Brockport. Wish there was one more in Greece or Henrietta of that size.
My experience today was so wonderful, thanks to Johnny. He was so polite, patient, and helpful with my product search. I appreciate good customer service, great location as well.
I came in to do an exchange and a purchase and the customer service I received at the register was appalling. I was hardly spoken to during the transaction besides what I was supposed to pay. After the transaction was over the woman brazenly flicked the receipt over to me while not looking at me as if to brush me off because the transaction was over. Didn’t tell me to have a nice day, didn’t say see you soon. Just handed me my receipt and that was it. Kind of rude to treat a customer like this when they have spent a significant amount of money to this store over the last ten years. Do better.
This is my favorite Sephora to shop at. The employees are all very nice and they seem to be the best stocked
Normally I really enjoy coming to this Sephora location, all the employees are very helpful and I am not the type to come home and write a review, however, yesterday I came in with my daughter who is transgender and was getting horrible looks from one of the employees, Jennifer, who I later learned is actually a newly appointed store manager. I could hear her making comments about my daughters appearance and she made it so uncomfortable to be in the store. From the looks of the staff they seem to be so inclusive and diverse so I was so disappointed that this happened. I didn’t even get to make my purchase because my daughter was so upset and wanted to leave and just go to the Sephora in JC Penny. Not only did she talk awful about my daughter, but I could overhear how she was talking to the staff and all I have to say is that I’m sure there are much kinder people to have representing your store.
The store is usually well stocked and the employees are so friendly and helpful. Anytime you ask them for help they always have someone that will be able to answer any questions you have. Always a very enjoyable experience at this store!
