Serafina Italian Restaurant 77th Upper West, New York NY

We ordered a pizza, rigatoni bolognese and started with bruschetta and it was incredible. And the server were accommodating with us being in a rush to see a show at the Beacon! I highly recommend

Above and beyond food! Quality is outstanding and they serve to please! The private is my favorite for parties, venues, and corporate events!

I ordered spaghetti alle vongole, and I couldn't eat it. The taste was like frozen plastic. I suppose the clams were frozen by months before they were cooked. The other dishes were nothing out of the ordinary. The service was good but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

I was on vacation in NY and the best experience was getting to know this place. It exceeded my expectations, the food was very delicious! The attention was really good, I fell in love with my server Carlos! Can’t wait to go back. Obsessed with everything.

Nice down to earth Italian place with good quality food. Very good value. We ate at the bar and the bartender offered impeccable service despite being extremely busy making cocktails. He kept things cool and classy all the time, as you would expect from a decent Italian restaurant.

Wine by the bottle selection is large enough for pairings.

Burrata was well balanced and worth a try.

Couldn't make a pizza half cheese/half without. Waiter insisted the cooks Couldn't do it.

Wow the chicken paillard was delicious and very healthy, we were served by the waiter Carlos who made our lunch very special, had a great time very recommended place to eat, we will be back

Not only do they force you to eat outside in the cold if u dont have a reservation, but the service here was terrible. The food is overpriced and tastes terrible. I went out to treat my gf and wound up having a terrible experience with this place.

Food was good but they need improve on size.portion sizes are too small for the price. Everything else wasn't really special and I felt like i was getting was i was paying for.

The tomato sauce with my pizza and spaghetti was soooooo delicious. Can't wait to try more foods here. Great atmosphere. It's definitely a recommendation.

Went for brunch. Unfortunately, they don't have a brunch menu. The table was small for 6 of us, but food was good. Waitress was very nice

Honestly I don't know what's the hype about this place. The menu sounds upscale but the actual food is very lack luster. It's not horrible but it's BORING especially for the price, it's a waste if money. NYC has Italian joints out wazoo so do yourself and favor and find one where the taste match the price!

Delicious Brussels salad. Pasta was great, and the spicy margarita hit the spot. Can't wait to go back and try the dessert!

UPDATE: Tonight my wife and I decided to try this place thinking that things had changed. It was extremely busy when we arrived, we had a reservation and we were ultimately seated in the outdoor area. What was supposed to be a nice dinner became a series of irritations and frustrations. I ordered a non alcoholic beer and my wife ordered wine, we decided to place our order since we thought it would take a while, but not even 10 minutes had gone by when our dishes arrived, yet we had no drinks and no bread (which was offered). When we complained to the server (, I use the word advisedly), she said that she was by herself in her section. Frankly staffing issues are not the customer's concern but we see the problem is with her. The busboy was more qualified to do the job, he was attentive, helpful as he could be and polite. And the final insult, when the server provided the check and said she removed the charge for the beer which they ran out of.
We know there is a shortage of help but this is the limit.

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I took my wife for her birthday, to be seated and snubbed by staff. 2 other couples came in after us and received service immediately. We left and I would recommend you consider strongly whether visiting this place that treats customers so badly is worth your patronage

Pleasant meal for a late lunch early dinner. It was a strange time of day to be eating, and we were one of their few customers. Waitress was pleasant without being overly friendly. It was okay.
