Serafina Italian Restaurant Broadway reviews
16 Food was good. The cacio e pepe pasta was smaller than the rest, that was kind of weird (I was a bit disappointed on this) and the desert was not amazing. (cheescake and tiramisu)
But our server Lautaro was super nice and attentive
Dined here with my family and long term partner who I recently said I love you to for an early lunch. We asked to be sat outside due to the Coronavirus disease 2019 although it was brisk. The waiting staff was very nice and accommodating and made us nice and toasty with the outdoor heater.
Ordered 3 appetizers including calamari and octopus. The octopus was ten out of tentacles, aka, delicioso. I also got a hot chocolate which was very tasty, although wish there was whipped cream. For the mains, we ordered a variety of pasta dishes. Carbonahra was more like a carbonyeahra.
Overall conversation flowed despite the noisy street and passerbys. <3 Excited to be back soon!
Absolutely love this place! The mushroom ravioli is just delightful and the service is spot on!
Nice ambience. Don't order the seabass unless you are prepared to eat sweet dessert. It comes with carmelised vegetables bu it is not made clear on the menu. Took a while to get the table clean. Pasta was delicious.
Always visit this place when in New York. There food is very good and the ambience wonderful.
We were staying in the hotel up to the restaurant and we tried for breakfast the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and with prosciutto. Super recommend this place the service was super. It is a good location close to Times Square and Columbus Circle.
Such a great place. My family and me love it. Pizza is very tasty there. I would especially recommend cheese pizza with truffles. Small dogs are allowed. We have a breakfast there anytime we visit New York City.
Great place for Italian in NYC! Food was great! I loved in Italy and this Spaghetti Carbonara was fantastic!
A nice place, food was good. It's
quite pricey - the service, as often in the US, is in the beginning very friendly but lack european standards at the end: they literally grab your plate the moment you have finished, even though my wife was still eating. A no go.
But all in all we had a nice dinner at serafina's.
I absolutely love it here! The food was Amazing and the customer service. *chef's kiss*
We enjoyed our dinner here. It's not inexpensive, but the food was good, and lots of options. Service was ok. Our complaint was that tables for 2 were extremely close together. Also, they need to have a policy so diners do not use hands free phones and speak loudly. Why New Yorkers think this is acceptable is hard to understand. The jerk next to us was almost yelling for 20 minutes.
We stayed at the dream hotel and specifically decided to go to Serafina as the included continental breakfast listed gluten free bread and granola. We weren’t expecting much since it is continental, but I didn’t expect to be treated like a burden for simply asking and then verifying about the gluten free options (not a fad diet choice, but a medical necessity for someone with celiac disease in our family). The first time I asked, I was standing by the breakfast options. There wasn’t any “oh sorry, we’re actually out of it right now” just “no, don’t have it” and dismissiveness. Then when he came over to our table to see if we were going to order anything, I just asked to clarify if we had to order off the menu to get the gluten free options (since they’re listed there) and the look and tone I got with the response was just ridiculous and rude. The guy also appeared to be the manager, not just a server, so I expected a little more…tact? Of course I’ve no idea what the experience would be like if we didn’t have the dietary restriction, but if you’re like us and just counting on an easy GF breakfast as part of your hotel stay, go somewhere else.
Eaten here twice in the last few days it was so good. Food is lovely, service is great and the atmosphere is exactly what I like, busy and bustling but not overpoweringly loud.
We went for lunch. The food was very good, but we found the portions small, and the price a little high.
Good welcome, good food, fast service and nice place, beautiful interior decoration, attractive price, the boss is very friendly, I recommend this establishment
Pasta and lasagna dishes were bland. Pizza was ok!
Nothing special, midiocre at best!
