Seton Park reviews
13I've loved this park since I was a little kid. The playground is cool (parents you can climb and slide too with your kids). There are tennis courts (I think you have to pay for that) but there's a wall you could easily hit a ball off of on your own. There are a good amount of trees. There is a baseball field near the tennis courts also plus a few basketball hoops. There's usually an ice cream truck hanging around too.
Nicely crowded. More benches needed. Dog park is popular but does not keep big and small dogs apart.
Love this place. A few different playgrounds, Basketball courts and extensive fields to play or lounge at.
A lovely neighborhood park. Every nanny in Riverdale brings their babies there. It's clean, safe, friendly, with well attended bathrooms. There's a sectioned dog park, tennis courts, a beautiful baseball diamond with a very handsome baseball coach/teacher. As of 6/2/21 the sprinkler system is up and running for the kiddos and the greatest news is the water fountains that were shut down due to the coronavirus, are also up and running. That is a testament to where we are in this pandemic.
Everyone get out of the house. It's time to start living again!
Staff was helpfull and they have a nice wine selection. We were looking for chilled Rose but they didn't have.
Nice family park
Clean and a lot amenities
NiceTennis courts, water play area for kids.
We call this place courtlandia because there are 4 full courts and six half courts with lots of parking and decent runs!
One of my favorite neighborhood outdoor destinations. It has tennis and basketball courts, a large dog run and plenty of open space between the baseball fields. It could definitely use and upgrade. I hear there is one in the works.
Good sometimes crowded, also the baseball fields are apparently public but are always being used by leagues so no one gets to play
Nice open area. Playground for children, enclosed dog park with benches an enclosed basketball area & many area to sit & enjoy.
Very safe and clean. Great park to exercise at night. Needs more lighting. Dog park, basketball court and children park with sprinklers (renovation still ongoing). There is bathroom space. Lots of trees and picnic areas.
Seton Park is South Riverdale's family-friendly center of sports and a peaceful haven for those that choose just to veg and enjoy.
Soccer, baseball, tennis, basketball, monkey bars, swings and enough shade, grass and benches to please all.
Its close to home. It would be so much better if the parks department actually updated the back end of the park, it looks so abandoned
