Settepani reviews
17Cozy restaurant, friendly and kind staff. Caprese Panini is amazing. Definitely I’ll stop by again.
I had a great experience here! The service was kind and friendly! We had calamari, and it was cooked perfectly. It was nice and tender, not rubbery or hard to chew. We also had the Margherita pizza and the spaghetti bolognese. Both dishes came out piping hot and they were delicious!
Delicious pastries are the cherry on top at this cool, inventive, delectable (That's right, I said it!) moderately priced Harlem eatery. If I could afford to eat out every day, this would be one of my go-to restaurants.
Arrived at the restaurant and was seated by a very kind gentleman with a nice sense of humor. Ordered drinks, they were pretty good, additionally ordered a meal and it was good as well. There’s an outdoor seating area that is pretty spacious. I ordered the branzino and potatoes which i thought were delicious. My friend ordered the salmon with olives mashed potatoes & asparagus. Her mashed potatoes were visibly gummy. The fish and veggies were great though. I’d come again!
This is the perfect neighborhood spot. If you just want coffee or a great meal, it's that place where you can sit alone or with friends. Either way, you will see people whom you know - and having more company is always at your discretion. The bakery products are fantastic!
Food is Fresh and Well Prepared. Service Impeccable: They took care of my needs and requests. Outdoor Atmosphere amazing when the weather is right.
LaToya and Valentino are Amazing! Tell them I sent you!
Exceptional every time I visit Settepani. The ambiance, the food, the amazing Aperol Spritz that are always on point, and I can not leave out my fav. Jean Claude who forever receives us so welcoming.
Really nice brunch options. High quality ingredients put together well, with very decent espresso drinks and a wide array of baked desserts and gelati. We had a few service mistakes (nothing major, just a busy day), but the food was great and the place was cute, so we'll be back for sure.
JC was absolutely outstanding! He is always kind, warm, and welcoming! The interactions with him and other members of staff here are the reason I keep coming back. Thank you JC!
Food quality does not justify such high prices, and when we were there, service was agonizingly slow.
Absolutely delicious!
Avocado toast and chocolate french toast with original mimosas.
What can I say about Jean Claude
. He, s extraordinary one of the nicest people I have ever met in Harlem you gotta come and meet him.i visited the Settipani 3 times this week just to see him.and the food is superbe.
Great service and great omelet! They agreed to serve us breakfast even though it was past 11am.
The manager (a man with glasses, wearing blue jeans and suit jacket) was extremely rude toward the waiters and made a scene in front of all customers, he made a waitress cry. Some customers requested to speak to the owner but the manager refused to contact him. His behavior was clearly disrespectful and unacceptable.
Additionally the AC was not working at all despite the unbearable heat.
We rarely eat in the City so I am not used to City prices. That being said, my wife loved her salad and my Oriccette (proper spelling?) special was delicious. Portions a little smaller than I expected. Jason, the Maitre d' had a very interesting sense of humor, which my wife and I appreciated.
We came for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and the atmosphere was very weird. Employees seemingly not communicating and yelling at each other. It was also HOT in this restaurant, nearly hotter than it was outside. The thermostat said it was 81 degrees inside. We were all sweating. We ordered pizza to share and it was bland. The other entrees we got were okay. The weirdest thing was my friend ordered the shakshuka, which ended up just being eggs scrambled with veggies? Not shakshuka at all. Service was slow and they weren't attentive, never checked on us or asked us if we needed anything.
