Seven Woks, Scarsdale NY

Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did. Sorry but wasn't good, egg roll was not fully cook, the rice was hard and cold. Beef and broccoli was ok, beef cooked good, but not broccoli. The Chicken chow mein was not eat able.

The food is solid, we ordered more than 7 different dishes and all of them were really good. The staff is efficient and got the job done even in a night where it seems like the whole town was dinning there. The place is clean and the food came pretty fast. Overall a great experience.

Overpriced and barely mediocre. Food has no flavor and boring. The sesame chicken…. Was NOT chicken meat. I won’t guess as to what it was. Disgusting. This place acts all gourmet but it’s just overpriced. Get lost.

Not a bad place where you can have a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere. They forgot to bring me rice to order, but that's okay. You can recommend to visit

First time here after trying last 20 yrs to find decent Chinese takeout in Westchester. This place is pretty good. The fried rice is brown as it should be. Could use more flavor but better than most. The orange flavor chicken was crispy and good amount of sauce. The egg roll was OK. Shrimp toast was also good. It is a casual sit down restaurant and was pretty packed on a Friday Night. I will be back to try some other dishes.

Most of the times I order to pick up. I like them and the food here is good for me to order 2-3 times every week.

I looked at the menu of Seven Woks on maps. I choose Duck and Fried Vegetable Dumplings. When I went there in person, and read their menu in the restaurant, there was no duck dish available. They had, including but not limited to, the Vegetable Fried Dumplings that I already decided to order when I thought of what I was going to order once I went in person to pick up my food. But, they didn't have Peking Duck available.

I ended up ordering 8 Vegetable Fried Dumplings and Chicken with Pine Nuts. The food was eventually brought out by a man who complimented me and attacked the skin above my upper lip, the hollow of a "moustache" so to speak. I discovered that he had attacked me once I checked a mirror later on, but I had the suspicion that he was going to dermatologically assault me. As I drove away, he astral projected to me and astrally stalked, astrally intimidated, and astrally harassed me. He made several astral suggestions to do unwise, foolish, dangerous behavior on the road, including but not limited to, looking to the left or right while the vehicle was moving. He astral suggested spirits to be passengers in the vehicle with me. I told them to get out and as far as I know, they did. The man who handed me my food, however, continued to astrally stalk, astrally intimidate, astrally harass and make astral suggestions to me.

The food packaging was good, there wasn't any liquid spills of sauces or anything like that. The sauces were soy sauce, a horseradish sauce that had an appearance of being mixed with a peanut sauce or not being dyed artificial green to artificially keep the natural green color of the fresh horseradish vegetable. And a sweet sauce. I threw out the horseradish sauce, I didn't like the flavor. I kept the soy sauce and sweet sauce. I put the sweet sauce in my Chicken with Pine Nuts dish and it tasted good. I put the soy sauce in my Chicken with Pine Nuts dish and it also tasted good. I combined both sauces and it tasted great. I mixed the food with the sauces and enjoyed my food.

I was also given crispy chow mein chips. I haven't ate them yet. I don't think I would eat those with soy sauce, and I don't think I'll mix rice wine vinegar and sesame oil and cayenne pepper and salt and pepper, although it would probably taste all right.

The restaurant made good food, I was expecting to order Peking Duck with Vegetable Dumplings, and ordered Chicken with Pine Nuts and Vegetable Dumplings instead. There wasn't cane sugar available on the tables, only fake sugar and white sugar. A shame. There wasn't any non alcoholic beverages available to order. Packaged Chinese sodas and Chinese juices would have been nice to choose from or glance at while waiting for the food. I ate my food with Ssips Fruit Punch juice. I was given two oolong tea packets with my food but I threw those away.

We did take out last night and I think the ownership must have changed. The food was not as good. We usually order the coral shrimp because it’s lightly fried- but this time it was deep fried. We also order mixed vegetables in a brown sauce. It’s generally fresh and loaded with veggies. Last night the veggies were over cooked and it had a lot of tofu which we didn’t order.

Food is very reliable, consistent, & tasty. Service is excellent. And, especially since redecorating, the ambience/decor is top notch. An excellent value in today's world.

1st time there. The waitress was rude.was packing up ourfood to go.while my friend was still eating. I took home chick lo min, and egg roll. They threw egg roll in bottom of container. Not going there again. Dont recommend. New China in larchmont way better service and nicer!

Nice atmosphere - classy clientele - fine tasty food - attentive wait staff - large seating area.

I was disappointed. The food didn't have much taste, the vegetables were cold, and our server needed reminding of our requests.

Loved the food. Went in for a late bite, and when they wanted to close, they were pushing us out

I ordered # 8 or 9.from the lunch special. Vegetables were fine but meat were all chicken skin. There was no meat as if i specifically ordered skin…When i told the waitress she was not polite. Although rest of the staff were doing their jobs. I will not go back there again due to that waitress’s very unprofessional behavior.

Never disappoints. The food is always good whether dining in or picking up a delivery. The shrimp egg foo young is my favorite as well as the shrimp fried rice.

We went tonight. The food was delicious. Very friendly staff/owners with a great sense of humor. Portions were generous. Prices great. Would highly recommend this place. I can't wait to go back!

I've had lunch, dinner, and takeout and have always been pleased! Always busy, but never overcrowded, 7 Woks is really good and reliable, with fast and friendly service. Wonton soup is NOT salty, with a flavorful pork filling in the wontons.it's mild and tastes as if made in-house, rather than from a package. I'm not a big vegetable fan, and the kitchen always accommodates my requests to leave something out or make a simple substitution of vegetable. In warmer weather, enjoy sitting outside for dinner. Everything I've tried has been delicious! So go!

Very nice location service was prompt and accurate. The food was very good the only issue I had was my egg roll it was very greasy like a reheat that had not been put in hot oil.
