Absolutely not! I ordered chicken over rice with white sauce and bbq sauce, and the guy overcharged just for the sauces ($10 for the whole order). The food even smelled like moldy feet or weeks old food, and it had a texture of melted cheese in one corner. That's the corner that also smelled. The guy in the food truck was rude as well, I hope he didn't spit in my food cuz the texture looked disgusting. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with Shah's. Don't get me wrong, their food is good, and I've ordered from here multiple times without issues, but something with this time was not it. It really just put me off from ever ordering anything here again. I would've added photos, but I threw it away before thinking of taking photos.

The 2 guys that work in the night presently is very unprofessional.the younger guy over charge and give u wrong order snd have a nasty attitude when confirm your order. I just order 3 food. 2 chicken over rice and one combo with white and bbq sauce.they didn't put any salad and they charge me 30bucks. I order hot sauce with the combo.no hot sauce and bo salad when I came home. I will report those 2 overnight guys to 311 and food protection services.

The lamb was burnt, there were tiny pieces of it along with bigger pieces and there wasn’t enough compared to the rice. Easily the worse experience I had with a halal cart. $8 for burnt meat is absurd

Great Halal food cart, opens early and close very late. And cheap prices, with a free soda!

This place has such great food. For a street cart, these guys are so nice. They remember their customers. The prices are good and the food tastes great. The food is so tasty I want to eat here every day.

My local cart on Rockaway charges $10 for a mediocre platter. This place charges $8 for better food, and you get a free drink to boot. I haven't been here in years but I'm happy to see that the food is still good. My go-to cart dropped in quality following inflation so I'm happy to see that this place is pumping out good food at an affordable price even with the inflation. Honestly, this cart may be my new go-to for local halal food.

The food was a 4/10
Chicken was shredded with bone. Chicken was bland, lacking flavor and dry. Lamb was overly salty and hard (kinda over cooked/burnt hard). Rice was mushy and lacking any flavor (maybe spice). Sauce was bland and had a weird after taste.

Price was good $8 for a platter with drink. They are also open late so that counts for something.

Shahs is the best halal cart in NY. I've tried from all over the city but nobody cooks better than shahs.

Food is usually good here but sometimes it’s stale usually late in the afternoon or night time and recently the prices increase probably because of Covid but now I don’t know because the pandemic is over
