Shake Shack reviews
12 Wait times can be abysmal during lunch hours. The service is good, but the lineup system is bad.
Not much to write about the food. Not a huge fan of Shake Shack but I itch the craving once or twice a year.
Once you go to shake shack, you may never go anywhere else. Meat is tender. Although this venue located in Grand Central is not the beat one. I still enjoyed the food!
Long wait, and they burned my burger. Too much of an inconvenience to get it remedied, given the wait for the original order.
Tasty burger, hotdog is a little behind in quality but good too. Quite busy since it’s in grand central but the system is organized and we placed our orders very quickly. Pick up is not as fast, perhaps because they are more used to preparing burger orders. Some people who ordered behind us got their burgers first while we waited quite a while for our items to come out. Price is a little high for the size of their items but the taste certainly makes up for it.
Great burger and shake. The prices can be steep but you are paying for quality that is what you get when you go to Shake Shack. The lines can get long but the lines tend to move quickly. But this is no McDonalds so it might take awhile for the food to arrive after you pay for it. So if you are looking to catch 3: 59 train, I would recommend going somewhere else.
It's not the token Shake Shack experience. The tomatoes and lettuce were shredded so the burger didn't taste the same. They used ketchup packets, which seems like no big deal but I really liked the pump ketchup at all other locations. The sitting area was way too tight and uncomfortable. And you just don't get that vibe the way you do from other chains.
Food is the same as any other location. Its convenient for a quick bite before the catching the Metro North.
It's slower than the other locations, though.the wait is longer.
Overall, I like the food, though u think Shake Shack in general is beginning to chintz out on their serving sizes.
Service is good, cleanliness is apt. However, the taste of their burgers in this location is not as impressive as the one in their museum of natural history branch.
First time at Shake Shack on 12/15/2018. They had no shakes and got the order wrong. A poorly ran business based on first experience. I hope it gets better if I choose to visit again.
Delicious food, paid for in lengthy wait times. Friendly personnel. Remote vibrating devices issued for pick-up, though sometimes the devices do not work well. Prices fair — but factor in long waits due to invariably large crowds! The restaurant’s bathroom is Grand Central Dining Concourse’s bathroom. Free wi-fi.
4 years ago and 4 years now, burgers are still subpar compared to other locations. Squashed buns and long wait (30mins)
This Shake Shack location is just like the others. Friendly staff, fast service, and consistent food. The only difference is that this one is located in the iconic Grand Central Terminal.
It’s located on the basement concourse amongst the other food court options. Needless to say that this place is a popular choice.
We came here shortly after it opened for lunch so the line was luckily only 3 people ahead of us. Browsing the laminated menu, we settled for a (mu) shroom burger with some bacon cheese fries on the side.
That smashed burger with cheese and the meaty panko-fried portobello mushroom were not overdone and the remaining encoutrement complimented it well.
The crinkle fries were fresh from the fryer and dipping it in the American cheese sauce was as fatty as you could possible get.
The experience is consistent with the other Shake Shack’s in town. Nothing else left to say.
