Best dental office I have ever been to. Entire staff is beyond lovely and super accommodating. Dentist is professional & extremely knowledgeable. I don’t think I have ever had a proper oral exam prior to my visit with this office. Highly recommend.

My favorite part about this office (besides the awesome staff and doctor) is the new technology they have to give me the best results I can get.

So unprofessional. I asked them to check if my insurance is covered gave them all the info necessary made the appointment.day before my appointment they text me and tell me they do not take my insurance.why to wait? Well the lady on the phone wasnt nice anyway and it should be a red flag. I specifically ASKED TO CHECK MY INSURANCE AND TO LET ME KNOW. AND THEY OFFER A NEW PATIENT SPECIAL $195 LOLLLL

Dr. Alex is the BEST! I can’t say, I love going to the dentist but, since going to Shalman Dentistry I’ve had a change of heart. Dr. Alex is knowledgeable and makes each visit feel quick and efficient. Dr. Shalman is a knowledgeable dentist, and was sensitive and responsive to this patient’s needs. He has a very modern office with cutting edge diagnostic equipment. I was very impressed with the mouth imaging system he used, and this system made it very easy to discuss and assess my treatment plan.

Dr. Shalman‘s staff is also excellent. I was pleasantly surprised with how thorough and diligent everybody was, with easy access to them and great follow up. Good customer service like this is pretty uncommon.

Wow, this was probably the most pleasant dental experience that I’ve ever had. Dr Shalman’s staff was super friendly beginning with the welcoming receptionist, Jessica the dental assistant, Crystal who gave me the most thorough cleaning ever, and finally Dr Shalman who was friendly, confident, warm, knowledgeable and thorough. He gave me a clear comprehensive plan. I’m someone who usually doesn’t like or trust going to the dentist, but after one consultation I feel completely confident and trust Dr Shalman with my care.

Dr. Shalman is truly the best dentist! He’s extremely knowledgeable and very caring. My family and I began seeing Dr. Shalman in Metuchen, NJ and have followed him to NYC! Dr. Shalman’s kindness and expertise are worth the travel.

Shalman dentistry is the reason why I feel less intimated by dentist appointments and empowered by the dental care I’m receiving. I am grateful for their quality attention and service. Due to a mistake on my part, I missed my first appointment and I was very appreciative of their grace and understanding. I made to sure to arrive early to my rescheduled appointment and they assisted me immediately. No wait time at all and I always appreciate being assisted at my actual appointment time.

It’s a small team and they’re all delightful people. I enjoyed my interactions with every staff member. I was extremely grateful for every question Dr. Shalman answered for me during my first visit. I also really appreciate how the entire staff seemed to prioritize my overall dental health instead of just focusing on the one issue I came in for. This dentistry office gave me a reality check about my dental health while also reassuring me that with their support I could work towards restoring my dental health.

When I went in for my second scheduled appointment, I couldn’t remember what it was for. When I arrived I was reminded that I was going in to meet with the Dental Hygienist, Crystal (hope thats the correct spelling), for a deep cleaning. This ended up being such a special dental visit for me all because of Crystal and her team. While finishing my deep cleaning, Crystal noticed that one of my front tooth looked chipped and said that Dr. Shalman could give me a filling to fix that. I told her I’ve hated that chipped look all of my life and that no dental professional has ever offered to remedy it in any way. They were able to fix my front tooth the same day! I chose to receive this surprise service as a birthday gift. I’ve always wanted to do something about my chipped tooth, but it didn’t happen until I met Crystal at Dr. Shalman’s dentistry. So grateful for how they serve their clients!

As someone that hates going to the dentist, this office has made it much easier to enjoy the visits!

Amazing staff and office

After 3 months of work & a half dozen visits,
my treatment is almost over. Every step explained clearly, and visits were brief w/no waiting time. The doctor, the technician & the office manager were all very approachable & made the overall dental experience top notch. Trustworthy

I prefer traveling to Shalman Dentistry located in Manhattan from Brooklyn, because I just love friendly, cosy and very clean environment, virtually no waiting time and, most of all, professionalism, knowledge and skills of Dr Shalman and his staff. Definitely 5 stars.
