Sheepshead Bay Marketplace reviews
15 Everything is fine! Especially vegetables, fruits, herbs. Price-quality is perfect!
I go constantly
One minus - the aisles are small and it happens when there are a lot of people - pushing carts. Everything else is great
Do NOT buy cut watermelon in boxes! Old one. Either they don’t keep it properly or they are deceiving about cut time.
Fresh food and have a lot of different fruit come from world! High quality but high prices
Always fresh & clean
A bit pricier than other places but you get what you pay for.
I shop there frequently. Their breads are great!
Nice assortment of cheeses too.
Love the prepared foods & salads
They have a good selection of fruits, nothing crazy just mainly the apples specificity, but i WARN you they are way more expensive than Whole Foods. I actually think the cashier charged me way more than what i was supposed to pay! I see many other reviewers saying the same thing! I was baffled for what i paid vs the amount of what i actually got. As an avid shopper at Whole Foods, the fruits, bread, organic milks cost at least $2-$4 less per item/pound/etc. Not sure why produce is alot pricier here. I purchased some fruits, not even in large quantities, just a variation of 6 fruits and with about 3-4 peices of each, at checkout it was $72.00, compared to shopping for the same items at Whole Foods for $44.00. This place is a rip off and i DEF think the cashiers scam as well. No way should a few fruits add up to that much, no way.
Everything is clean and tidy. The prices are very high, there are no promotions and discounts! Therefore, I only go to the toilet) Thank you!
Totally out of my way but ny goto for the freshest fruit. If you arenlooking for any specific groceries, I am sure they will have it. The place is huge
Nice place. Unfortunately, we were in a rush and we tried to ask for help so we can find some items a bit quicker but the person working yesterday didn't understand us.language barrier other than that.nice place. You will find almost everything (on your own) but you will.
Super clean.the best fruits and vegetables.packed with grocery, delicacies and beautiful fresh prepared food bar.parking a plus
Nice place.clean and well organized.top quality fruits and fresh veggies and juices.friendly helpful staff.open 24 hrs
Unique grocery store specializing in fruits that you don't normally see in many other grocery stores such as passion fruit, mangosteen, custard apples and more. It is more than just a fruit market though. Various bacons and a homemade bread shop also contribute to the uniqueness. We also like the hazelnut spread with no palm oil, and the sheep's milk yogurt.
I bought expensive red Caviar, which the sales girl suggested me for 90$, she claimed its the best company among others, and its was spoiled inside after 2 or 3 days, after I opened it, I went back to speak to the store manager, he said we never give the money back. I lost 90$ just for nothing. Never going back there to shop!
THE STORE IS OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY WITH QUALITY FOOD AND PRODUCE BUT FAR FROM WHERE I LIVE. WORTH THE TRIP FOR THE OCCASIONAL SELF-INDULGENCE!
Great place for grocery shopping. Decent prices and great selection of fruits, vegetables and gourmet food.
It's a little pricey to be honest but the selection variety and presentation make it all worthwhile. I love the dried fruits a ton! Always clean and reasonably fresh. I switched from the popular king stand on McDonald Ave after they insulted me, to this one. I continue to warn NYC businesses that don't care about their customers that it's very hard to compute the total cost of a lost customer.
