Im giving it 2 stars for customer service. I didn’t get a chance to get my head shaved. I went inside said Good evening & asked if they offered Straight razor shave. The Guy was so rude he said «  Go online & book an appointment thank you »& turned his back. I stood there for a little bit than left. One of the stars is because the place looked cleaned

Really, all I can I say is "wow. " This is hands down *the* best haircut and shave I have ever gotten, New York or elsewhere. Steven was amazing. I showed him a quick picture of what I was looking for, and he was off. My haircut was perfect, and then, the single blade shave was *next level* (hot towel, shave, hot towel, shave, MASSAGE, etc.). I have had a good amount of single blade shaves in my life, but this was hands down the best. Add to that how my hair turned out, the great conversations Steven and I had during our time there, and the overall vibe of the spot and professionalism of the staff, and you just can't beat this place. It was my first time here, and I've already booked my next cut/shave with Steven in August. A+, Six Stars, all that jazz.

Maria was so nice. She understood what I wanted and gave me a terrific natural dry haircut. And it was half what I usually pay. And she used product which she didn't then try to sell me.

Been looking around Brooklyn for a good haircut stumbled upon sheer madness made an appointment online quick and easy showed up and was totally blown away by the haircut I got from Maria. I will honestly say it was one of the best haircuts I have gotten in a long time.

Maria is AWESOME! This place rocks. I booked last minute online, and got in the same day. Maria was nice, and so, so precise. She made sure to ask me questions throughout the cut to make sure I liked it and she was clear on what I wanted, which I really appreciate as someone who changes their mind a lot. My fade looks perfect. I think this is the best cut I've gotten, and I'm so happy to have found a great spot so quickly after moving here. The vibe is great, too, and it's really clean. For only $30 for a men's cut too! You can't beat it:)

Maria is fantastic. After years of searching for a good stylist in NYC I found Sheer Madness and haven't gone anywhere else since. I've tried several styles of pixie cut, which all look and feel great. I especially miss this place after 3 months of shutdown, and even though my hair has been growing out for much longer than usual it still looks good—the mark of a truly great stylist!

Maria was my stylist and she is a perfectionist, focusing on every little strand of hair. Possibly the best haircut I’ve ever had. Reasonable Brooklyn prices at $30 for a cut.

Just moved to the area and needed a new stylist, and a friend recommended Maria here. She along with everyone else is great. They're friendly and professional and the cuts are great - plus $25 for a men's cut in NYC is a steal. Especially with a hot towel massage at the end. Highly recommended!

Love Sheer Madness. Easy online appointments or walk-ins, MARIA is my one and only and a great go to. They take their time, they sometimes hand out free shots, they'll ease your face with a warm cloth at the end, and the quality is what you'd hope for. $25 for a good haircut in New York is what you need. I love it here, can't recommend enough.
