Shequaga Falls Park reviews
20Not much parking, but a very nice place to stop for a quick break. Falls are clearly dependent upon recent amounts of precipitation, so, keep that in mind when visiting.
One of God's Great Creations, It's Beyond Breathtaking. When you need to vent, or get a piece of mind this is definitely a place to Go for some You Time
Looked at property here bc of proximity to family, but the Falls sealed the deal. Grateful to Jes Seaver of Warren Real Estate for showing us M F!
The Shequaga Falls are a short ride from Watkins Glen. The falls are easily visible from the street. There are a few parking spaces on the road. There are several benches and a picnic table at the park. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to visit if you are in the area!
These falls are surprising! They are right behind a couple of houses in the middle of town! They are beautiful and very easy to get to. Be sure to see these!
If you are in Watkins Glenn, NY, take a few minutes and drive out to see this waterfalls. Beautiful. Easy to see for those that can't, or don't want to hike or take a long walk.
Beautiful well kept site! A great stop if you are in the area, not much too it what what there is, is magnificent! Would have loved to see more history about the place!
Watkins Glen Falls was incredible! It was educational and breathtaking. Be sure to wear good hiking shoes and warm those calf muscles up before starting. There are soo many steps to climb but there are places to rest also. My pictures don't do this justice.
Small park with a big waterfall! You will probably have to park across the road or on one of the side streets, which isn't a problem.
It's a small park. There is only room for two cars to park right in front of the entrance. There is plenty of street parking close by. Anyway the park is perfect. There is an open grass area with a sidewalk leading up to the viewing area of the falls. You end up right in front of the falls with unobstructed views of a very pretty waterfall.
Stunning little park that surprised us as we were driving up the street! All of a sudden there was the falls! It is beautiful!
AKA MONTOUR FALLS. Beautiful waterfall in village of Montour Falls. We stopped by on our way home from Niagara Falls Canada. While a bit smaller that Niagara (tongue in cheek) it was a great stop. There are two parking spots right in front of falls, or street parking on street diagonally across from falls. Access is to bottom of falls only. Worth stop if you’re in area.
Great stop along the Catherine Valley Trail. Easy to bike or hike here. There is a lovely grassy area for a picnic. It looked like someone was setting up for a small wedding when we were there.
Freely accessible. Great place to visit. You can park on the side of the street and walk over. Lots of people on bikes stop by to take a picture. There are beautiful mansions along the S Genesee St. Really lovely!
Gorgeous location. It's a small park but plenty of room for young children to run and play. Great spot to take some pictures of this massive fall. While we visited there was a group there using the falls for painting and ot was a cool sight to witness.
When you first arrive in Watkins Glen, you are so excited to see a waterfall, but this one inspired a work of art that hangs in the Louvre
Beautiful falls right in town. There are 2 spots right in front to park in. We parked on a side street and walked over. There are a couple benches by the walk way. We were surprised at the size of the fall! Worth a quick look!
Go at night to see the falls lit up. We were the only two there for the light show on a Wednesday night! You can feel the wind pressure and see the mist.
Unbelievable that this is literally in someone's backyard. The sheer scale of it is impressive. Extreme peace in an unexpected place.
