Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar reviews
18Shiraz kitchen is one of our favorite restaurants in Westchester! I grew up with authentic Persian food cooked by my mom and grandmother, and I must say, Shiraz Kitchen’s food reminds me of the delicious homemade meals growing up! You must try is asap!
Excellent service. Delicious food. We came from a recommendation of a friend and will definitely be back. A very special find. Excellent cocktails. Perfectly poured wine. And the food was truly something special. The staff was so friendly and helpful.
Amazing experience. Top notch service from Sodik! His lamb and fish suggestions were so tender and flavorful. The Armenian classical music was soothing to the soul. Can’t wait to dine here again.
The portion of the food is small compared to the price. Also, the quality of food is not good. Chicken kabab and Koobideh was very bad. There are many negative points that I can mention about the quality of the food!
Wonderful, quiet spot hidden in Elmsford, Shiraz is worth checking out. The food was delicious, the drinks well made. We enjoyed every bite of our meal from the perfect appetizers to the mouth watering dessert. Highly recommended!
Another wonderful trip to Shiraz Kitchen in Elmsford. My wife and I went on 7/3 and while they weren't seating outdoors (too hot?) we had a lovely spot on the window. Food, as usual, was excellent. Our server suggested I "taste" a white wine and brought over a whole pour. It was delicious but I felt odd if I didn't because it was a whole glass. And it was $18, which was a bit pricey; I should have asked or he should have mentioned. Nit picking, to be sure.
The Sultani kebab plate was huge; the filet was perfect. I could eat this every week. The falafel appetizer was equally great, though feels like 6 pieces vs. 5 would be a more reasonable ask. Better for sharing!:)
Thanks to Reza and the whole team for a wonderful experience. We'll see you again soon.
Our experience was amazing. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. I can’t wait to bring my foodie friends back next time.
An amazing experience that went far beyond what I was thinking of. Food is just a.m. A.z. I.n. G, the staff is really polite and the restaurant is really cute. I do recommend doing reservations in advance. For tastes, I do suggest the organic and huge dates with fetta cheese and walnuts (see picture). They worthed every minute from NYC to Elmsford (I took me only 45min by car from home in Quenns to the restaurant). After that, I had lamb chops with iranian rice, which were very, very tasty. For drink, I ordered a pomegranate iranian juice. Last but not least, don't leave the place without going to their small iranian foodmarket next door, where you can buy many iranian, turquish and other fine food items. I did. Definitely I will come back there.
Best Persian and Mediterranean food in New York and NewJersey. The service and atmosphere is perfect. Beef koobideh, chicken koobideh, beef and chicken sultani and beef Sultani are the best kebabs you will ever have in this area. Turkish tea, baklava and Persian ice cream must have after each meal. Try it!
Shiraz is a hidden gem in Elmsford. I’ve been here numerous times with family & I have yet to be disappointed! The food & service is superb with the staff being kind and attentive. The quality of the food is like no other with everything coming to your table fresh and straight out of the kitchen. If you want a lovely night out without having to drive too far, Shiraz is your place!
My family and I love Shiraz. We are from Elmsford and this beautiful, attentive, and high quality restaurant is an absolute gem. I highly recommend Shiraz. Extremely clean, family friendly. The wine bar is exquisite. The owner Reza is very involved, and caring he speaks to all of the clients and treats them like family. Two thumbs up
I drove an hour from out of state to get to Shiraz because they have the BEST Persian food. Everything is such high quality and their customer service is A1+. My family and I love to get food there anytime we can. The best!
Tadig with khoresht was really bad (ask for a small sample before you order) … chicken kebab was dry … koobide was ok but I think ravagh has much better koobide …. Overall, it is waste of money
Outstanding Persian restaurant in Elmsford. Yes, Elmsford!
If you like lamb chops this is the place for you. Delicious!
For lack of any decent competition the food is above average. Not much to be expected as far as any ambiance at this armpit of New York county ; reserving the right to comment further on the total lack of any Persian charm or famed hospitality by its frozen faced roaming owner!
Horrible food!
While their ambiance was lovely, the food was by far the worst I have ever tasted. The prices are higher than most Persian restaurants in Manhattan wich carry a much higher rent and the portions were smaller than I’ve ever seen. The same goes for their grocery store next door… ridiculously high prices with smaller portions. Truly gauging people! Don’t waste your money! I’ll never go there again. Some people just don’t belong in the kitchen and this is a great example of that!
If you’re curious to try Persian cuisine or simply looking for a great meal in a nice restaurant, you MUST check this place out!
We had a blast! The food tasted wonderful while decorated super pretty. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will most definitely be back!
I rarely write a review but this place deserve a moment to appreciate their quality of foods and services. I've ordered several foods from Shiraz Kitchen over the last year. Those are literally GREAT quality meals. I highly recommend this place, especially If you feel homesick lol!
Here is my ranking out of 10 comparing Shiraz with other persian resturants:
Shamshiry, VA: 10

Ravagh, Manhattan, NY: 5
