ShopRite of Bay Shore

They don't help out veterans that don't carry cash on them specially when they charge 10 cents for a paper bag when everyone else charges 5 cents it won't kill them to pay for the bags sometime so don't shop at shoprite in Bayshore or you will be forced to put your grocery in a cart and unload each item one at a time into your car

I went in for cat litter that is currently on sale. Once AGAIN they do not have the sale product in stock! When I asked for a rain check the kid in customer service said they don't give rain checks for animal products. When he called the manager on duty, 5/25/21@ about 5 pm I was told he confirmed no rain checks for animal products. This shoprite has one of the most unfriendly, discriminative, and revolting policies around. They obviously lure you in when they know they don't have sale products and try to screw you over! Shoprite of BayShore, N. Y.you just lost a customer for life!

I bought a package of beef short ribs only to find 2 out of 4 were bones with no meat hidden beneath the label. Come on Shop Rite, really? Then nobody answers the phone "due to Covid". Please. Butchers, shape up.

Not sure who trained the staff, but they need more training. A store label had hummus @ $2.49, they charged me $4 & then I Had to go to Customer Service so they can fix the issue. Took 5min + just to get a "refund", while the managers argued w/ a man for not wearing a mask.

The deli meat counter is trash.every day I get my cold cuts they cut the cheese thinner than the meat, they don't ask thickness, and the cheese comes out into one block that you need a knife to chip off pieces.never fails. I have pictures of successive days where its just worse and worse. I use them at my family's deli to show the kids what not to do. They need someone who actually knows what they are doing to run that counter.

Always a great experience shopping there, the employees are friendly and helpful, the prices are better then other chains.

DO NOT order online for pick up. Apparently they do not receive the text message they ask u to send when u arrive and also do NoT answer their phone when u call 7 times so after 45minutes I finally got them to help me. AVOID THIS SERVICE AT ALL

If you make a complaint the managers ignore you or yes u to death
I worked for Pathmark and it was a pleasure to work with great manager wise up you are losing people to stop and shop

I bought a pack of me and it was rotten Had to go back and return it smelled so badd when I opened it gross.

9am and plenty of employees walking around and talking but only 3 running registers. 4 deep.why go shopping early?

Only gave it one star because I couldn't give it less, nothing but miserable $10 an hour employees there who don't care about anyone and just stare at you when you ask them a question like the African american girl at the deli counter.

Great fruit & produce, decent selections in health food type items, good fresh (and frozen) fish, good selections in deli, wide choices in meat and poultry usually at fair prices, fresh baked goods, check out lines usually are busy but move quickly, helpful staff

All sale items were gone. I love shoprite, go out of my way to go there, hope this doesn't happen to much.

Wonderful place for grocery shopping theor vegetables are in good shape and they have pretty much anything you would need. Certainly nothing special but I have zero complains

The employees stay humble respectfully and work hard and doesn't seem like anything or any one is going to stop it the food there is good and every ones helpful and just seeing the ladies beautiful smile is something everybody i know want to come back to but we all know aldies is dry asf.i cant take a pic right now but y'all catch me there often

Good location, fair prices, plenty of choices and stock. Weekly coupons always available via the mail or newspaper.

I like to shop early am before the crowds and was dumbfounded. What I went to shop for was not on the shelves. I normally shop at Hauppauge, and sometimes Commack, but happened to be in the area. Was disappointed, to say the least. The only good thing was beating the crowds. I'll stick to my other two. What a shame, because they're in a prime location.

Good location, friendly staff, great deals in their circular. Especially when their lobsters are on sale!
The only thing I don't like about this store is that it always seems too congested, and a little messy at times.

It's a Supermarket. This is an extremely busy location. Many sale items are not in stock when you go on a Tues or Weds. Hence the 3 star.

Very disappointed. I couldn’t complete my transaction, when I tried to pay with my card you weren’t accepting cards. The person-cashier didn’t let me complete it, I can give your her name if needed.
