ShopRite of Chester Plaza, NY

ShopRite Chester needed this upgrade several years ago. Love the makeover. Now its a pleasant experience to shop there.

Produce is limited at times and hit/miss quality when there. Items are shelved poorly (not logically). Deli always puts stickers across ziploc so you end up ripping bag. Just not a modern or high quality place.

The shopping experience was good until we came across 2 different men who had their masks under their chin.
The manager made an announcement, but they continued shopping with their masks under their chin. That's so selfish putting others at risk.

This place is the Best to shop at for your grocery needs. Workers are polite. Managers are always walking around and keeping their store up to par. I like seeing that they communicate with their workers, as well as, the customers. JOB WELL DONE! For this Shoprite. They really know how to interact with everyone. They keep it clean and always stocked. If you can't find it they will

This is to acknowledge one expectational employee at your store. I’ll tell you who she is! Hidden among the flowers, you can find a gem: her name is Sam-Sarah! During this catastrophic pandemic & other violent unrest; she stands out as an extraordinary human being! Our precious daughters;1 living in Warwick, other in Vernon NJ have been through a lot! 1 is a covid survivor, other was very sick but negative. We are seniors parents living in Florida. But we wanted to do something special for them. After futile attempts to to find a florist to deliver 2 bouquets of 18 yellow roses (song by that name by Bobby Darin) I found Sam-Sarah! I explained what I wanted, she ordered 3 dz in a timely fashion & economically! My kudos to that for caring & making everything possible! ️️

The place is fine. It's the shoppers who rate poorly because no one seems to be able to follow simple lines on the floor, nor do most people even attempt to distance themselves.

Made a delivery there.receiver is always on point. He checked my body temperature, john in produce is awesome, and his staff is also an amazing staff.always willing to help and they push alot of produce out on the floor, and display the fruit well.

Ridiculous! I placed an order online confirmation for pick up approved, then to receive a phone call saying they were out of stock!
Not a good way to do things but a good way to lose customers!

Well stock and ready to go in this environment that we're currently dealing with. Lines may be long but it seemed like everybody got most of what they needed.

Never have a hard time finding what I need. Clean and community friendly. Prices are competitive and there's always great sales.

730 am seems to be a great time to shop just me and the staff. I was in and out with my usual list in 27 minutes vs 45 when the store is full of ppl

Gotta be the SLOWEST DELI in America. Good store always clean but they overcharge. This is probably the most EXPENSIVE shop rite in Orange County. Probably because there’s no other supermarket in the area. Middletown ShopRite and Monroe ShopRite is much cheaper.

GREAT STORE: . Best prices anywhere! Employees are nice! Very helpful staff! Greg in Fish Dept.is awesome, he knows fish, recipes and how to cook them! Gil in produce is the best too! Lynn in non foods is so nice! MARY in self check out is the best, she always helps me with the computer checkout! She has a great sense of humor too! This is MY STORE. I have shopped elsewhere, but I always come back to Shop Rite for the best prices and quality. Customer Service lady is so much fun and super nice too! She always has on a cool hat for every holiday. Valentines Day, Easter, Christmas, 4th of July, St. Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving, and more!

They always have your groceries your looking for. I just find it funny watching people trying to use the self checkout. It takes longer than sitting behind someone with a full cart in a full service line

There is no fighting ever at thiss shoprite it is the best shoprite to go to and shop at in the holidays and all year round because it's all rich people no ghettos there so no robberies and no fights it's one of the best shoprite stores on the planet you will enjoy shopping there.

The section I don't care for is the deli. The precut choices are thickly cut, which isnt good. Then, with their new system, I sometimes either forget to pick up the
deli meats or they forget to bring it upto the front. I am also grossed out with the young man with the beard and long hair he has pulled back. I don't purchase deli foods anymore.
