ShopRite of Colonie

Stopped at the shop right gas station and was not able to redeem my points and went into customer service at shop rite and go said they were unable to help me and the people in the gas station said that I had to go to the store customer service. I have also had problems with the customer service department at the shop rites in my area. I won't be shopping there or using there gas station anymore!

This ShopRite in particular has some of the rudest and nastiest staff ever. The cashiers are the worst of the worst as they have terrible attitudes and no regards for the customers that they are there to serve. Complaints fall on deaf ears, but that is ShopRite in general.

The selection at ShopRite is always amazing. The cashier asked me if I had any coupons and I said no do you have any? I did save me seven dollars just by asking they did not have to do that I was so amazed thank you Shoprite we definitely will be back real soon.

Best ShopRite in capitol region. Friendly helpful staff. Don't tell anyone at the Niskayuna store but I'll be heading to Colonie because it's bigger and the aisles are wider.

I stayed away for awhile, but they are rising back up on my favorites list for grocery shopping. Well stocked on almost everything! No issues getting Toilet Paper or Paper Towels All the Thanksgiving stuff was well placed and plentiful. The Taco supplies weren't wiped out like some other Markets. Also, those isles are so wide!

This shoprite in Colonie is tthe best by far, I'm never disappointed when I go there. They always have everything I come to get.

Lines are horible, they hardly have any cashiers on even before covid. However long it takes you to shop add 30 minutes to 1 hour to begin checkout.

I go here instead of the closer ShopRite in Niskayuna due to more selection. Staff at both stores are very nice. Management at both stores are understanding and fair.

Finally a fully stocked grocery store. First view of a fully stocked grocery store since March. Very clean and all employees were friendly and helpful. Deli department was especially nice

Most people were wearing masks and the store was pretty well stocked. However, few people were paying attention to the direction of traffic flow in the aisles. I passed many going the wrong way. Hard to enforce.

Worst experience of my life! Went shopping with my 18 year old son on my 20th wedding anniversary and attempted to purchase a dozen roses, a card, a gallon of milk, a 12 pack of miller beer and a 12 pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade. The cashier asked for my sons ID and refused to make the sale because he was not over 21. Cashier responded with "if he was in a shopping cart I could sell it to you". The cashier became very rude and when we spoke to the manager he determined that the cashier should have made the sale but at that point another associate was laughing at us so we left the store empty handed. After going to price chopper we met a wonderful staff in the flower department who was more than happy to wait on us. She apologized for our bad experience at Shoprite on my anniversary.and went above and beyond to help us. In conclusion I guess you should leave your kids home when going grocery shopping!

Visited this Shoprite location on 8/1/2020 and there was no Arm and Hammer detergent, super annoying and stocked poorly

Great variety of products. Usually not too crowded. If you are looking for energy bars this is your spot, there is a whole aisle just filled with different types of energy bars.

Wow.what a great shopping experience. Employees were so very helpful and pointed out items on sale! The cashier was awesome and friendly and bagger was perky and sweet. Shoprite had everything I needed and It will be my go to store for food AND gas! Virtual hugs to all.

Very clean got registers open from just having one when line was really long still needs work with getting the managers to help bag or do something instead of standing around and watching the lines get longer and cashiers ringing out people plus bagging

Wow this was the first time I have been in Shop rite in a long time. It was so clean and organized. I didn't have time to look around or do a lot of shopping. But the prices were just like any place else that I have shopped at. I will be going back to do my weekly shopping. I'm glad I happen too stop in there. It just seemed so nice and clean and very nice service.

This store is always clean and typically stocked well also. The employees are always pleasant and willing to help at all times.

Friendly people who are very helpful. They usually have everything on my list, and are happy to give rain checks when they don't.
