ShopRite of Liberty

Wife and I traveled 60 miles to get to the closest SHOPRITE to Binghamton, NY. Well worth the trip. Found items you just don't get in nearby stores! We will certainly return, likely once a month. Comforts of former LI life in upstate NY!

Good selection and seriously too expensive.
I mean too expensive. Like 30% over priced and they double charge for paper bags too.

I have shopped in this store for 36 years now. I know them like a book. If you are a disciplined shopper, you can save a lot of money here, if not, you won't. Quite disappointed they discontinued the senior discount. But I have to say, overall, it is a great place to shop compared to other places around here. Shop-rite beats Walmart hands down on grocery. I wouldn't feed Walmart meat to a dog.

Nice clean store, the bad time to go during the summer is Friday evenings and Saturdays after sundown. You get a crowd in from the city that just clogs the place up

Update as of June 2021 - it feels as though you are taking your life in your hands to shop here at the moment. Not only have they abandoned their mask policy but they are allowing in large, family groups without masks - in a county where fewer than 50% of the adult population has been vaccinated. When the third wave of infection hits locally, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it originated at Shoprite of Liberty.

Meanwhile, as I wrote a year ago, the store is undependable - you never know what's going to be in stock. And the meat and fish are only packaged in large portions - they simply ignore the needs of single-person households.

Bigger store then all others I am used to. Looks great. Found everything I needed and enty of registers were open for a quick check out. Very good customer service at register.

Always have a great selection of fresh Vegetables and fruit. Seems to offer more options than other supermarkets in out area.

I personally prefer buying my food from shoprite because there food is alot fresher and affordable and top of that I get my bang for my buck. Great Job.

There was 3 people walking around without mask and no employees said anything to the people once it was brought to their attention

A pleasure to shop. Produce are fresh and organized. The fish department makes an extra effort to assure customer's satisfaction. The bathroom is clean. Simply a pleasure place for shopping.

I shop here every week they have great produce and meat. I love the Dutch apple pies from the bakery. I can't really come up with any negative feedback. They always have enough registers open so you never have to wait online long.

Shoprite is excellent when it comes to customer service. They are always willing to do what they can for the customer; this makes me feel very valued. Great produce at reasonable prices and frequent sales on items I buy. Very glad there is a store close to me!

They don't care about customers or their employees. The management does not follow COVD 19 guidelines, especially the number of people allowed in to the store by square footage. Mask wearing by management needs to be taught proper wearing and enforced. Noses outside the mask are the same as no mask.

In general the store is fine but the deli counter is not. I asked for the meat to be cut very thin and the girl snapped "I heard you" when I hadnt said it yet. I opted to pick the order up after shopping and when I got home it was not the way I ordered. This has happened more than once. From now on I will stay there no matter how busy they are and watch my order being done. I called the store about it but waited forever for the manager to pick up and finally gave up.

Don't tell anyone but this is like one of the last old time general Store type joints in upstate New York back in the day. They are out there but usually hidden gems. 5 stars, great staff!
