A beautiful place serving delicious Italian food. The best part of the meal was their homemade tomato sauce. We happened to pass by the area and saw a plate of tomato sauce being carried by a waiter, which looked fantastic! It was a spontaneous decision. We made the right choice! My spinach fettuccini with shrimp and calamari was excellent! What I liked about the sauce was that they added real tomatoes, and cooked whole tomatoes, not chunks or sauce alone. I got the taste of the tomatoes. I love good quality tomato sauce. Hubby’s meal had a different type of tomato sauce and it was good too. My sauce was Fra Diavolo and he was Marinara. Before the entrees, we had fried artichoke, baked clams, and smoked salmon for appetizers. The baked clams were fabulous! Fresh clams with fewer bread crumbs, best way to eat. Get this if you love clams! The smoked salmon was served with goat cheese on a piece of toast. Amazing appetizers! Great service too! Recommended!

Impeccable service. Very good food! Lunch special says $15 BUT that is for just pasta with tomatoe sauce If you choose a different sauce, $4 more, if you add musgrooms etc $4 more. My $15 lunch special was $24 $31 inclding 1 glass of wine.
Check your bill. Keep your reciept, they added 10.00 to my bill after I had already tipped %20. Made me not want to go back. Spent 160.00 for lunch.

Go for happy hour. Drinks and food on happy hour. The zucchini chips were a little too heavily fried, but really good. The cacio e pepe was very good. Truffle fries also tasty. I had one of the cocktails on HH hour, but can’t remember which one ‍️ very well made and fresh tasting.

Me and my friends LOVE Siena Cafe! They have great food and if you get bottomless they keep the drinks FILLED. Alex is the best, he’s very attentive & funny and even gave us specialty shots. I would 100% recommend!

Set a time and get in yo drinks! Such a good deal with solid brunch food options. The Bloody Mary was delish but the mimosas are the way to go! Servers always around to top off your drink and food came out quick. Great energy here

I get that it’s busy on weekends, but service took so long that our hot coffees and espressos were cold when we received them. Also, the outdoor dining heaters were broken on a morning when temperatures dropped below 40 degrees…

This place is the real deal. I live around the corner so I’ve eaten in and gotten takeout several times and I’m always really impressed with the quality. Very fair priced as well. Please never change ️

One of the good Italian food spot on UES. Always lively and good bar. Much recommended. I always enjoy the food when i go there.

Gave these guys two chances for brunch, about a year apart, and all I can say is they have the same routine…they’re short staffed, the heaters for the outdoor space are constantly broken, and now the food isn’t very good. I feel bad for the one guy who has to serve all of the outside tables and even though he is nice, he’s spread too thin. Over an hour we didn’t have any water (from the beginning) and we didn’t even have the opportunity to ask for a coffee refill. He has no Backwaiter either. The kitchen didn’t make the food that was on the menu as is (crispy bacon was ham). For $20 there are better options at other places in our hood…

I’ve been here a handful of times and received good service. I was very disappointed that I came here with my black friend that they did not pay attention to us and charged us for an item they never brought. Waited 10 minutes just to make eye contact with someone to ask for the check way after we finished eating. They also only refilled my bottomless drink twice in the whole 1.5 hours. We were clearly ignored. Unsure if this experience is also because we are young women deff NOT POC friendly. The employees are very biased on who they decide to pay attention to. Edit: The servers name is Alex he works behind the bar and was VERY attentive to a group of frat boys sitting directly next to us but I had to vocally say “excuse me” to him on more than one occasion just to get him to look at us and give us service. Truly disappointing as I said I’ve been to this establishment before.

I like the menu. The staff if always pleasant and fairly attentive.
However, the outer door is always open, so when people enter thru the inner door on a cold day, you get an artic blast. I like to eat at the bar so this is a problem. Often, if there is no seat [sort of] out of the wind tunnel, I just turn around and leave.

Excellent happy hour for cocktails, wine, beer and bar snacks. Good wine list, fun bar scene and lovely staff. Weekend DJ's. Love this place!

Brunch was great and the service is on point. The manager is usually present and very welcoming. They have a couple of choices for bottomless so you dont have to only drink mimosas. Considering the area this is a great price for quality

Eating at Siena is a great experience. Getting delivery is hit or miss. Sometimes good, sometimes awful. Today was awful. Our food went to the wrong apt. We got it cold. Then we were missing an entree. I called and they said they’d deliver it - great. But then the doorbell rang again and another person delivered us the wrong food. I called to them in case someone else cared. They told me my food is coming, don’t worry about other customers, and they hung up on me. 45 min later, still no food. I called and asked for an ETA and they never made it! I asked for the food and the guy gave me so much attitude and told me to follow up when I ask for my food to be made. I shouldn’t have to follow up! I know they’re busy. If they just made the food on the receipt, we wouldn’t be here. Their problem, not mine. Considering we spend hundreds/month here as locals around the corner, they should have treated us better. Really disgusted by this.

Waiter did not speak English. Our mealtime with Cesar's Salad and they brought us tossed salads which was suppose to be my friends salad instead they brought her a Cesar's Salad. Definitely not returning.

Came here for brunch. Entrees and beer selection are simple. Cocktails are awesome. We got burger, pasta and egg salmon Benedict, flavor is very mild and I can definitely appreciate the subtlness of it. Some may or may not prefer that. The pricing is amazing. It's actually cheap for Manhattan location.
The ambiance is nice, it's a big space and if you have a big group, they can easily cater to that.

Nice vibe. Great waitress. Food just sorta so-so. When we walked in, a couple of diners were walking out and complimenting the host on how divine their meals were. They must have ordered something totally different from us.

Food is decent, waitress doesn't write anything down which means they are very good or _not_. Ordered regular eggs on a sunday morning. Got the steak and eggs. More expensive dish. Wasn't going to bother sending it back but it doesn't matter because it's delivered by bus boys and the waitress never came back to check if the food was good or right. So, food 8/10, service 5/10, atmosphere 6/10.
