Dr Craig Richter is a wonderful Opthamologist — my husband and mother have seen him for complex issues. Brilliant and a kind bedside manner. Highly recommend.
My optometrist referred me to this office and it was worth the trip. The staff was lovely and although it was full they took their time with me and didn’t make me feel rushed. The dr explained everything to me and made me feel better. I definitely recommend this location

I see Dr. Mauro who is wonderful. Takes the time to speak with you and answer questions. It is a very busy office so they are usually behind schedule. That's my only complaint.

My appt was at 1: 30 but I didn’t leave until 4PM. Never had to wait 2 1/2 hrs for an eye doctor. This is unacceptable.

The check in process and all the following diagnostics performed are done expediantly I find ALL the technicians to be very friendly and knowledgeable! The best part of SightMD Smithtown for me is my Opthomologist MD JOHN MAURO! MD Mauro brings such a wonderful energy to the practice! He is so welcoming, warm, patient and understanding! I find MD Mauro to be UNIQUE! In this day in time, where healthcare professionals are often mandated to provide short visits, MD Mauro kindly spends as much time as is needed, to insure you’re “taken care of”! And understand your issues, treatment now and for future!

I see Dr. Liebert. She is an excellent doctor. She did surgery because my right eye was going outward. I think it is called strabismus. She also treats me for dry eye. I see her every 6 months. She’s the best.
