I was seen as an emergency. I not only had an eye issue of broken blood vessel in one eye but was also suffering with the flu. I went in with a mask and they brought me right into a room where I waited to be seen by Dr. Kumar. He was very nice and gave me a lot of information about my condition.

SightMD provided excellent patient care in a very clean office with state of the art equipment. I highly recommend them Dr. Kumar is very knowledgeable and took his time with my care.

My office visit went smoothly and efficiently as always.
The Plainview office is extremely well organized and well managed, and all of the staff are very patient and attentive.

My right eye cataract surgery by Dr. Eric Rosenberg went wrong.
Dr. Rosenberg is very nice but unfortunately the surgery went wrong. The multi-focal lens he suggested and implanted, led to extreme blurriness.
He ended up referring me to another doctor outside of SightMD And I had to go through another 2 surgeries in the same eye in order to replace that multi-focal lens with a mono-focal lens.then I was advised to see a retinal specialist to make sure no complications occur (such as retinal detachment / loss of vision).

Updates on 12/19/22 I’ve had a retinal detachment surgery TWICE in the same eye due to the multiple surgeries

Updates on 05/25/23 i underwent my sixth eye surgery in the same eye due to the lens falling and requiring replacement. This time, fixation was necessary.

Regrettably, my life underwent significant changes due to the cataract surgery suggested and performed by Dr. Rosenberg during what was meant to be a routine checkup. Despite being under 50 and active in sports, I found myself facing SIX surgeries, each followed by at least 2 months recovery. This not only impacted my ability to engage in activities I love, like soccer and martial arts, but also disrupted my work, travel, and exercise. The repercussions of these surgeries have been profoundly distressing.

Prompt, knowledgeable, courteous. Doctor Kumar addressed issue at hand and remembered my history from last time which was amazing considering the high volume of patients he must be seeing.will surely be following up. Thank you

Came in for an emergency visit after my primary doctor misdiagnosed me. They took me in right away and had me examinated in a timely manner. Was able to get a proper diagnosis and began treatment right away. Life Update: The eye drops Dr Rosenberg prescribed to me worked really well! My treatment period ended earlier this month and my quality of life has been much better. May need the drops again in a about a year but only time will tell. Would definitely recommend this place to someone, they treat the causes for conditions and not just the symptoms.

Staff were very pleasant and friendly they were also very thorough with all the tests they performed and explained each test and what was going on the doctor was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering and explaining everything that was going on and what was needed to help the problem all in all I would definitely recommend SightMD today other people

Dr Rosenberg was very understanding of my problem with dry eyes. Prescribed a new eye drop that should help my problem. He was very friendly and so far very satisfied.
