Silberman's Army & Navy, Bronx NY

I bought items months ago. They processed my payment and never sent the items. I've called multiple times and emails have went unanswered.

I ordered a pair of shorts four weeks ago and have yet to receive them. I have emailed and called, received zero response. They took my money immediately. Disappointed that with all that’s going on in the world, they resort to scamming.

Placed a web order on may 29th, Been two weeks so I emailed them a few times with no response. Come to find they are closed, no indication they are shutdown on the website but they took my money. No sorry for the delay or due to Pandemic message. Nothing. Will be contacting the BBB.

I only gave Silberman's a one star review because I was unable to give them zero stars. I purchased a knife from Silberman's online but was disappointed when I received it. I asked to and they approved my return of the knife, which they received a month ago. We have e-mailed back and forth a little, but I haven't heard anything in the last ten days. Now I don't have the knife, nor the refund money. I advise people to avoid purchasing anything from this business. In my experience they are unresponsive and could care less about the customer once sale is made. Instead of a potential repeat customer, they have made me a dissatisfied customer spreading the word on their poor business practices.

Store location on 1393 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003. I was at this location on Sept 2,2019 and asked the assistant manger if they were hiring for a job and she said yes we are hiring. So I filled out an application on Sept 3, returned to see the manager. I went to the manager of the store, who said no we are not hiring, I proceed to tell her that the assistant manager advised me that there is an opening. I think the manager is prejudice and violated the equal opportunity laws.

The customer service was great. They didn’t have a selection just for women, just some unisex items, but the owner said they are working on building an inventory for women which is great. I really like the quality of the BDU’s they sell. Will definitely be back to buy them in more colors.

I ordered two army green tee-shirts. The tee-shirts were of very good quality, well sewn and very reasonably priced. I am very impressed with Silberman's. I'm planning on purchasing more items from Silberman's.

I ordered an item, they charged me for it, a week later call me and tell me its unavailable (although it still is on their site), so I call them back and tell them I dont want anything else, they said they'd refund me, weeks later, no refund, another call, nasty handling of the call, like they are doing me a favor to credit me something they never should have billed me, still nothing, now in dispute with credit card company.what a nightmare.

Buyer beware. Very slow shipping and no communication. Placed my order and stated i needed shirts by a certain date and to contact me if it would be a problem. Emailed them multiple times stating to cancel my order since i had not reveived shipping notification as my deadline was approaching. Received noy one single response. Shirts were delivered over a week past the day i needed them. Horrible customer service.
