Singas Famous Pizza reviews
17Great pizza and wings. I had the butter chicken pizza and BBQ wings, and it was delicious. Open 24hrs, a must try everyone.
This is a pizza place which has been around even before I was born. Very cheap and pizzas were prepared the way I like it. Thin crust and my favorites are with meatballs, pepperoni and anchovies. Please leave tip to the cook. They are very nice and accommodating. Pizza place is clean.
Came all the way from Orlando, FL just for this pizza! Phenomenal service! The guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful. Pizza was the bomb!
Where’s the sauce bruv?
i always go to BELLEROSE famous but a friend wanted to pick up from here… stick to famous
Came here unexpectedly because my phone died and I couldn’t use my gps to get where I was originally going. Anywho, I’ve had Singas in Forest Hills, which is way better than this location. I got the sausage and pineapple pizza with garlic/parm fries. They were both mediocre; the pizza and fries had at least 2 fiber hairs (from clothing…etc) that I was able to see. I Won’t be returning.
Great approx 10" pizza, buy 2 w/ toppings get a 3rd plain cheese pizza free if paying cash
Been a customer here for years now always call 10 minutes before when you place your order and by the time you get there the pizza/sandwich/panini no matter what it is ready to go one of my favorite pizzeria nice tasty personal pies always fresh
Went there for 2 or 3 times only within 10 minutes wait time the pizza is ready crew at night is really customer friendly don't expect anything from any place the owner is nice as well
Sad Cardboard Pizza.
I love Bellerose Famous Pizza which is the same company (? Or adjacent). They have fresh pizza with good ingredient ratios. Clean location. Nice packaging. Bellerose Famous Pizza is only 5 minutes away by driving, so it’s close-by.
Singas has none of that and never fails to disappoint me. Stale, cardboard taste. Tastes like left over pizza made out of Soviet Union ration ingredients.
Even if Bellerose and Singas use the same ingredients, there’s clearly a huge difference in quality between the two.
Listen, there’s a lot of NYC pizza places I’d describe as “okay”. Those places I wouldn’t recommend as outstanding or unique…but hey, if you want pizza they’d get the job done. However, Singas is the only place I would NOT recommend anyone go to. At least this location- I don’t know if the quality/management/recipe is good at others.
This location is also open 24/7 which is concerning seeing how they’re understaffed, and their quality is poor. I’m assuming they earn enough profit by being the only pizza place in the area open so late. But it doesn’t really make sense because you’d also have to pay employees for more hours…?
My advice would be to stop being open 24/7 and focus on cleanliness, consistency, and quality. Some of the best restaurants I enjoy are open very limited hours. Bbang lab for example is a high quality bakery that is only open on weekends, and it’s in a busy area (assuming rent isn’t cheap). They are always sold out late afternoons on weekends. It is a different niche than pizza, but it still stands that high quality often creates a cult following. The 24/7 quantity over quality state of Singas is wasted potential. Perhaps that’s partially why Bellerose fairs so much better- they are not open 24/7.
Less pressing since I don’t know what’s behind the scene but probably a good idea to raise employee wages alongside cutting hours open- treat your employees better and it’ll reflect in sales.
I went there at 2 am to get some pizza. I like that they are open until this time. The pizza was fresh and the crust crispy. Better than the one they serve during daytime.
Good service very courteous very respectful been around for a while foods Always great love coming back. Thank you for being a landmark of queens village.
I ordered delivery through Uber Eats and when it got to me the plain and onion pizza’s cheese was dark brown with burn spots and the dough was hard and crunchy. Seems like they gave me whatever they had laying around from another person that didn’t pick up their order. This is not the first time i’ve had an issue with quality at this location. The Hicksville location is 10 times better
My experience was excellent. Food was tasty. & very Quick service. Thank you Walter for the amazing pies.
I just got back from out of town after four months I’ve been craving this every day I just ordered it off Uber eats delivery came by extremely fast.food was amazing thank you.
Food was amazing. I’ve been going here for 15 years and the quality has always been immaculate. They always do my catering. Ask for sunny or jay. The best in the game! Fast service and response. Thank you again boys.
Very expensive for a very small pizza. I was shock at how small it is, but the price was so high. The pizza fit a child’s plate. The picture was a close up to make it look bigger, but in person it’s a very small pizza. There was no difference in taste from other pizza places. The price is questionable.
I have been a regular customer at Singas Famous Pizza on Hillside Ave, and overall, I have had a positive experience. The quality of the food is good, but the last few times I have felt like I have gotten a reheated plain pie. However, the service is quick, which is a plus.
