SINY Dermatology - Park Slope reviews
21I’ve been coming to the clinic for the past 3 years. I recommend the facility to friends & family all the time. No complaints at all, everyone within the location is always friendly and welcoming. Waiting time is never long and scheduling is never far out. The experience altogether; chiefs kiss! 10/10!
Dr Dowling was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I didnt have to wait at all for my appointment. She gave great advice. Receptionist was friendly and office is nice and new. I would definitely return.
The staff is very polite and professional. They get straight to the point and take care of your concerns immediately.
I had a great experience. It was quick and everyone from the practice was very friendly. I was able to ask all my questions and I didn't feel rushed.
Vitaly Kramer goes above and beyond. Have been seeing him for a few months and he’s been very helpful and patient.
Dr. Petrozzian is friendly, funny, caring, and thorough. His staff is warm and thoughtful as well. Great location, clean and attractive offices. Would definitely recommend.
Very nice receptionist and assistant. The PA, Kramer, was super informative in a succinct manner. Being in the medical field and managing issues for over a decade, I didn't want to force an opinion or have him over explain things that I already knew, and he was very adept at recognizing that. Everyone put up with my parental jokes, and they articulated it was okay to be open.
Very nice place. This was my first time here and the staff were all polite. Not a long wait time.
I love this place. Clean, always able to get an appointment, and right up the street from my house. Been seeing Dr. Sergey Petrosian for about a year now with some skin issues, and he explains everything clearly and is very friendly. All the staff is very professional and kind as well. Highly recommend.
Dr. Karp is the BEST dermatologist i’ve ever seen. I recommended her to two friends and they were glad they went.she addressed their concerns and helped them out.i went to her after i had top surgery and she helped me out so much and gave me the best advice for my healing journey.definitely trans + LGBTQ inclusive and friendly.also follow her on instagram bc she’s always giving out the best advice! I am a Dr. Karp stan. 100/10!
Fine experience with the doctor here, but unfortunately I had a biopsy done here and nobody ever made sure to contact me with the results (results that warranted follow through.) Making sure to get someone on the phone is the least a practice could do when it comes to skin cancer, but it seems they are more interested in selling botox and filler here.
I did not have a positive experience. My consultation was rushed and the dermatologist did not seem to want to be bothered with my concerns. I also did not like that the dermatologist assumed I would not be willing to pay out of pocket for services nor did he even give me the option. The proper way to say something is, "This is considered a cosmetic service and your insurance will not cover it, however you can of course pay out of pocket if you are still interested. " Zero options were given to me. I wonder why the option of paying for a service was never a consideration? I felt like I was being profiled because of my insurance / appearance when in actuality I came here ready to spend money, but that option was never even given to me. Hopefully this was just an off day at this office and this is not a common occurrence, but I will not be returning.
Very happy with Dr. Karp. My husband and I are patients and have been delighted with the results. Appreciate the staff friendliness and very clean environment. Love the technicians have a hand held iPad to see our medical history in seconds.
I love that they have a variety of operating hours. I don’t have to take off work to come here, and the service has been pleasant.
Dr Saitta was professional, helpful and very insightful. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend. 5 Stars!
I came here for a skin check and chose a doctor specif based on his personal reviews. I have chronic skin issues and wanted to begin a doctor-patient relationship with a good dermatologist. I ended up being seen instead by a PA; he was nice and I was satisfied by his care at this particular appointment but I ultimately asked for referrals elsewhere for my issues. I would be happy to see him again for my next skin check, however.
It seems like not seeing the provider you booked with is a common occurrence here based on reading other reviews, so just be aware of that before booking.
My name is Rhonda James. I saw Dr. ANNA Harp I came in with no scars she did two incisions on my face. I walked out with two bandages. The blood was leaking out of the bandages. I Have two scars on both cheeks. I am light skin. I am in disbelief how my skin looks. I just hope the scars go away. I Have to wear the mask now. My husband was so mad because I let her do incisions and she still did not solve problem. Very depressed with the outcome February 15.2023. Please be careful.
Dr. Karp is the nicest dermatologist I’ve ever met! I’m looking forward to my next appointment!
I was very upset with my visit. I had a very good experience the first time I came a year and a half ago. And I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but reading the other reviews - it seems like this isn't the first time.
The doctor was not in the office because of an "emergency. " Of course, you cannot help emergencies. However, why wasn't I notified before going into the examination room? I should have been given a call the morning of OR notified as soon as I came in the office. NOT while I'm in the examination room - this means they can charge my insurance. They are fortunate that my insurance paid because if I had to pay co-pay or out of pocket - I WOULD BE EVEN MORE ANGRY. Because I'm paying to see the doctor but I get a PA? No - this is not okay.
The PA came and yes she was wonderful. She apologized for the doctor not being in. But, this really isn't acceptable. As I said, I came to see a doctor!
Afterwards, I told the receptionist that if I made an appointment I want to make sure the doctor is in. She said something along the lines of "I can't tell you if another emergency will happen. " I had to ask "Can I call and make sure she is in before coming in? " She seemed offended and said "You can. "
I should have said "YOU should call me to let me know if the doctor is in! "
Not happy at all. As I have read other reviews - it seems like this happens often. If this is the policy, this practice isn't going to last. I'm being honest. This is unprofessional behavior. I hope the doctor wasn't lying and if she was not in the office - patients should have been notified. Appointments should have been cancelled.
Receptionist and the nurse was not professional at all. No apologies from the receptionist for not calling. The nurse look like she wanted to get off work as soon as possible. GET IT TOGETHER.
Went there for the first time today for a checkup and the PAs were able to answer all the questions/concerns I had within 5-10 minutes. Definitely going back!
