My husband and I always get the grilled fish dinner with plantains with the spicy mayonnaise, boiled eggs and grilled onions in a sauce. It's so delicious and filling. It's really worth the money.

I ordered jellof rice! Wasn't close just white rice fried with black pepper.disappointed wasted my money.

Horrible, they advertise halal food they don't sale, the food is overpriced and taste disgusting, it's sad how my people have no clue in business but still try, I asked the woman for halal she looked at me and lie i paid $28 for the food bc I didn't feel like arguing with her than tossed it in the garbage.

Food was fresh and delicious. Nice portions. We ordered the grilled fish with atteke. The only challenge we had was the delivery guy did not speak English well and it was difficult to communicate. I recommend this place and will order again.

The African dishes that distinguish this restaurant from the others in Brownsville are kept in the kitchen and are not on display for self-served like the Caribbean and Soul foods.
The proprietor prepares the African food orders away from public view, and the main ingredient (s) that actually make the dish is small. I ordered the mafe served with rice as per the menu, but I was charged for the rice separately as if it was a side order. I was charged $5.00 for the rice. And, there were only 4 tiny pieces of lamb in the peanut butter sauce.
Their thiebu djeun order is mostly rice with a tiny portion of fish and vegetables.
Buyer beware and I recommend that you check your African food orders before you leave

Never again. I told the guy my noodles was cold and he offered to heat it up in the microwave who comes to a restaurant for microwave food.

There food is everything I ordered from Uber eats I was so hype y’all don’t understand I ordered late too they got African dish’s maliene I love it because when I can’t get it from home I definitely count on them! Thank you

It was our first time ordering from here and we enjoyed our meals. We had the chicken, grilled fish, plantains, and yellow rice. I liked the marinade that was used for the onions and chicken. Very flavorful food and my toddler was able to enjoy it as well due to it not being too spicy. We would definitely come back again. I also like that they close late as we decided to eat late in the evening. My only complaint would be that grilled shrimp was advertised on their window but they don't have it. Other than that everything was good, best of luck to you all.

Good food and very clean just know they yo by the weight off the after you pick what kind of meat you're going to get

Was incredibly rude and even tho they didnt close for another hour they didnt serve us. Felt judged when just asking simple questions. Wish I got to taste the food but customer service made me lose my appetite

Delicious food and huge portions! I got the spinach sauce with fufu and okra sauce with rice, which had huge pieces of meat in them, which I wasn't expecting. I also got the grilled fish and cow feet soup which were also delicious. They also offered very personal service and made sure everything was right.

Spent $60 on 3 meals and was highly disappointed. Pepper steak was CHICKEN with pepper FLAVOR. Jollof rice was flavorless and barely had any meat. Lastly, the oxtail was tuff, the rasta pasta was sweet and topped with an even sweeter vegetable mix. Overall portion sizes were very deceptive and purposely positioned to look like there was more. Don't waste your money unless you like airfood with a little dessert veggies

Amazing food, big portions, fresh, and traditional home food. They also got great customer service and fast delivery, just go head and order already you won't be disappointed, trust me.

Food was not good. The oxtails and curry goat was far from tender. The baked macaroni tasted weird. It had no flavor. The collard greens was also tasteless. Both meals that I received was just terrible. It’s crazy because before we walked in someone warned us about the food. We decided to see for ourselves. That was a mistake.
