Sitwell Dental, Malta NY

First time at Sitwell Malta and had a great experience. (With one small suggestion). My hygienist Sheila was great at putting me at ease; very welcoming and gentle since my teeth are super sensitive. All areas were clean and equipment appeared state of the art. Dr Cami was so nice and thorough. Answering all my questions about future care. I would highly recommend. Just one small pet peeve…. I arrived 20 minutes early for a 9 am appt and wasn’t asked to fill out new patient forms until 9 - the receptionist had forgotten! Not a deal breaker but a little annoying. Other than that, everyone from check in to check out was courteous and helpful

Had a tooth extracted yesterday, basically painless. And they take state employees dental insurance. Great job!

I have always been afraid of the dentist.
I found Sitwell when they opened. The staff is amazing! State of the art care. I went yesterday to have some teeth prepped for crowns they knew I was nervous but made me so comfortable from the time I walked in to the time I left. Dr John is amazing I will never let another dentist touch me… thank you Dr John and Staff I look forward to seeing you all soon!

You are greeted when you come, everyone is friendly and says hello. My hygienist Sheila is amazing. She has such a gentle touch.

If your looking for a Dental Practice that’s spotless, efficient, and caring go to Sitwell Dental. It’s a 10 in my book. EVERYONE in that practice is outstanding! My first visit in the Malta office was exceptional. I got cold and was going to run to my car to get my coat, but they said, don’t worry about it. They gave me a blanket that one of the office staff made during COVID. It was spotless, warm and beautifully made. I’ve been to their Clifton Park Office for a Root Canal, and again, EVERYONE was outstanding! The Dentist, Dr. John O’Brien, was incredible, gentle, and very likable! Obviously I can’t say enough good things about them.

Sitwell Dental is a terrific dentist. I’ve been extremely pleased with their professionalism and staff! Always takes care of the patients first! Highly recommended!

DO NOT EVER GO HERE! I have had a lot of dental work done in my life and have always been okay with it. After going here I have nightmares about all my teeth falling out (I've never dreamed about that until this place). I have had bad experiences with two of their dentists here. One who did some fillings and crowns for me. She did the Novocaine shot and it felt like fire going up my cheek. Also, my face was numb for FOUR HOURS following this appointment. It looked like I had a stroke. I've never experienced this until her and I have had a lot of dental work done. I wanted to give her a pass, it does happen, sometimes they hit a nerve and that happens. So I went back for a different filling, and it happened again except this time my vision went blurry for three minutes. I told my coworker this experience and she told me that she had a similar experience but her vision went completely black for a couple minutes. Turns out it was the same dentist, this is clearly something she does often. After that, I requested another one of their dentists and they told me a lot of patients asked to change after an appointment with this woman. I don't know why they kept her on staff for as long as they did. So with this new dentist, I went because the filling that I had done the previous time crumbled the next day. So, the receptionist told me that I would love this new dentist because everyone does. I did not, she didn't believe my filling crumbled and instead of just looking at it stuck a sharp metal tool in the filling hole. If you've ever had a filling, you know how painful that is. So, you are better off going literally anywhere else. I for one am never going here again.

Sitwell Dental has a friendly, professional and detail oriented staff. There services have been high quality and show a true teamwork environment. Special shout out to Sheila, she provided an excellent dental cleaning provided on recent visit.

Heather was extremely helpful in setting up my appointment and making sure everything went smoothly on my first visit. Sheila was a great hygienist, very personable and gentle while cleaning! Overall, it was a great first experience! I would recommend Sitwell to anyone! Also as I in the waiting room, another patient arrived with an appointment at the Clifton Park office, they were extremely accommodating and got her in to the Malta office promptly! Very professional!

This was my first time here after moving from my old Dentist office. Sheila and Ava made my experience AMAZING! Sheila is my all time favorite hygienist. She was so kind, knowledgeable, personal and gentle when working on me. Ava was very productive in getting me an appointment in a very timely manner and she was so kind, funny and helpful. This office is very modern and up to date and I love the atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back for my next appointment! Thank you Ava and Sheila!

Had my deep cleaning done by Heather the hygienist. She did an amazing job and was super nice and caring along with excellent knowledge of my issues. Dr John O’Brien also is very good. He also is very caring and knowledgeable. I always find the reception staff to be very nice and willing to help. It seems like a great place.

100% would recommend. Literally got in the same day I called for a second opinion. DR Cami was so genuine and I almost cried happy tears as to how much stress was eliminated from one visit. I don't usually do reviews but Sitwell In Malta is amazing.
