16I got the PCA chemical peel and it totally messed up my face. Do not recommend. Very rude front desk staff.
First time at skin spa and I had a fantastic experience! Julia was my aesthetician and she did an amazing job. I did the custom facial with the peel add on and my skin looked amazing after. Julia did a great job with the extractions, and explained all the steps of the facial well. I’m very happy with the service and am planning on returning every month.
Greta is absolutely fabulous! She takes the time to work on you and perfect you for your goals. I've been coming for years for her care. Love her to death!
I'm a regular at the Midtown East location of Skin Spa. I get frequent deep tissue massages with Alex and he is amazing. Always does exactly what I ask and is very tuned in to my pain points. They always have specials on packages, so I always get my services at a great price!
The skin spa was great! It was my first time getting any time of skin treatment done and Lucy made me feel so comfortable! They were right on time and facilities are were clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back again!
Skin Spa is my favorite facial spot in NYC. It is clean, affordable, and all the facialist take the time to address your skin concerns. They never shame my skin (which is important) but encourage the healing. I always walk out happy and glowing. Will always go back!
Poor facial service! My whole purpose of getting a facial was a thorough exfoliation of nose and near areas, which after the facial felt like was not event 50% done - I dont have that many blackheads to begin with just wanted a touch up. Still have visible blackheads on my nose that the facial expert (Albanian lady) promised to remove. I would appreciate if company can offer a complimentary facial and get rid of blackheads
Excellent massage therapists! I see both Alex and Shirin for the deep tissue massage and I highly recommend both of them.
Georgette was very knowledgeable and kind. I’ve never had a more relaxing facial. My skin looks amazing, and I definitely will be back.
Great facial, extractions were not painful, had also high frequency, and face massage was superb. Nadia did an amazing job!

It is important to state that I’ve been a customer of SS since 2014. My 1: 1 time with Greta has been transformative and helpful to me expanding my capacity to care for myself. Today, I was scheduled by the 56th street site manager. Melissa is a caring and accountable to the clients. I take no issue with the manager or practitioners I’ve spent time with.
My very serious issue is with the front desk personnel that are hired to work at the establishment. Today’s emerging conflict occurred with Leah. Here is what I sent Melissa after wrapping up my time at SS 127 E. 56th Street:
Good afternoon Melissa,
I trust the day is kind to you.
I’m just wrapping up my time here at 127 E. 56th street.
Leah is sitting at the front desk, and I must say, she too ended my time here at the space in a negative way. Please let me explain:
At the end of my time, Greta waited for me at the front desk with options for cleansers and toners. At this time, Leah sat at the front desk waiting for us to finish. I knew that you had arranged today’s services with Alex and Greta, yet Leah felt and expressed otherwise. Initially, she stated that my package would cover today’s deep tissue and that I had a “comp facial”. I knew that was wrong and asked for her to explain to me why my package would cover the deep tissue.
She then begin to look at the screen.
Leah stated, “let me look at your notes before we get into our feelings”. I immediately asked her, “what do you mean by that? ” She kept to reviewing the notes. By this time,
I had already pulled up your email from April 12th confirming the appointment. Leah continued by stating there was nothing in the notes that showed today’s services were covered by SS. I asked Leah for a piece of paper and her name.
I followed up by reading the entire email. She asked, “what is the date on that email? ” After listening to me read the email out loud, Leah then stated she will give me the comp for both services. I asked her, “how is it that you didn’t want to honor what I shared before reading the email? ” At this time, a line of clients formed behind me. Leah stated, “there was nothing in the notes about the services being covered, yet I have created room to hear your concerns, and went ahead to ensure the services are covered today. ”
There is absolutely no reason why these type of conflicts with front desk personnel should occur. I stepped to the counter to close out my time today, and again, I am put into a situation where I have to justify myself to people that review my account in a subjective manner.
Although Leah kept a monotone and reserved disposition, I perceive her behavior as passive aggressive. There was absolutely no need not to initially consider what I said about today’s services being covered by you. She made a choice to rationalize why - what I shared wasn’t honored via the notes in my account.
Absolutely appalling, unprofessional and irresponsible.

I had another excellent facial with the best esthetician on the planet, Greta. I’ve been going to her for years. She’s also done IPL, Forma and Titan and me. She is simply the best!
