Medical staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable. You don’t get the sense you’re being rushed through your appointment.

I usually go to the Park Slope office and have been going there for many years. I wanted an appointment sooner than I could get at Park Slope, so I opted for the Chelsea location (happy I had this option) and was treated like "family" there as well. Great facility and staff!

Efficient, professional and caring staff is what you will experience at this lovely dermatology practice. Dr. Zelaya is absolutely lovely. Thank you.

Office is a clean modern space.
Dr.was attentive, listened, provided feedback, diagnosed, proposed a treatment plan, prescribed medication, and did a biopsy.
He was present throughout my visit which for me has been hard to find in many doctors today.
Very happy with today’s experience.

Poor bedside manner, long wait for appointment (45min), lack of attentiveness to detail shared.

explains things to you. The staff at the desk is always friendly and accommodating.
I have never been to a medical office that every single employee is professional, courteous and pleasant. Every person who I was in contact with was knowledgeable, caring & attentive.

I honestly LOVE the doctors at this place, I’ve been to both Chelsea and Maspeth locations and the two dermatologists I’ve seen are great, very caring, fast, and make me feel heard.

I’m not giving 5 stars because of the front desk. I don’t know their names but I hope I can find out soon so I can be more specific in my next review, but there are a few front desk ladies that have been rude and impatient when explaining things, or don’t even greet me when I get to the place. Is honestly annoying and a personal pet peeve of mine. If you don’t want to work with customer service (In which you have to be friendly and I know this because I do front desk myself) then find another job:) it doesn’t cost you a penny to be kind and professional.

The experiences I’ve had are:

* Do not greet me when I get to the location (it’s happened almost every time I go to the Chelsea location)

*it’s a little bit confusing when I request appointments online vs calling and making it on phone call.
Sometimes I request my appointment online for Tuesday and they have me on schedule for Thursday or viceversa. This has happened to me two times already.

I’m sure it’s a pure misunderstanding but I’d like them to explain the situation as a misunderstanding/honest mistake as well, instead of making it seem like I purposely wanted to switch appointments back and forth.

Because that’s how they speak to you, like you just want to annoy them for the sake of it.when I was just as confused as them!

* And lastly, I did not know their rescheduling policy (if you cancel or reschedule too many times they’ll charge you) which is totally okay, I just didn’t know that. And this front desk lady did not find the right words nor tone to explain that to me.

She made it sound like a threat instead of an explanation and when I said “oh I didn’t know, thank you” she just hung up. Didn’t even say “no problem, have a good day” and it’s really annoying to know that me (as a client) I’m “nicer” than her when that’s basically her job (? Disappointing and ruins my experience knowing how much I love this place. I hope they train/hire better candidates in the future

I rarely have to wait for my appointment, often leaving ahead of time. The Doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. This practice has improved my life.

I spent 200$ yet and still waiting to see a doctor and get my vbeam laser treatment. The answer is that they just don’t know when this doctor will be available. So yes 200$ later I’m still waiting to see him and get an appointment!
