Dakota is hands down, a hair guru. I have darker blond and dry curly (sometimes unmanageable) hair and she handles it with such ease! She’s a master chemist when it comes to color and cuts my unruly curly hair with such precision. She doesn’t just “do hair”, while you’re in her chair she will teach you how to care for your hair properly at home.

I’m a very low-maintenance person and usually only do my hair about once a year (this year I went twice). Dakota colors my hair so that when it grows out, there are no hard lines and looks naturally sun-kissed. Keep in mind that this obviously isn’t achievable with every hair color, I’m already blond so in my case it works.

I also would like to add that she’s been doing my hair for 10+ years and is a personal friend of mine. I am extremely proud of her insane work ethic, determination and kindness. Did I mention her personality? ! She’ll have you laughing up a storm and sometimes even dancing in your chair.

I’ll leave you all with one last tidbit of information…. I live in Miami and STILL come to her for my hair. I pay full price for these luscious locks and my girl is worth EVERY penny and then some.

It is so hard to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair. Today was my first time at Skye’s and I will definitely be returning. Dakota gave me an amazing cut. Not only did she cut my curls she styled them and showed me the best way to handle my curls. I am so pleased and I cannot wait to return. In addition the atmosphere was warm and fun!

Sky’s Hampton Hair is an experience in itself. Dakota is an artist and makes my hair look phenomenal…. All while keeping my hair health in mind. Dakota is super funny and always makes me laugh everytime I’m in there. Sierra is also great, and hilarious as well.
