Absolutely love the service here and Sabrina! She always cuts my hair perfect! And the cappuccino’s are delicious!

I went because I needed a cut in an emergency. The stylist who washed my hair was very polite. The cut wasn't really like the picture I showed, but it still looked nice. They really took their time and didn't rush which I appreciated. I felt that it ended sort of abruptly/awkwardly, my clothes and I were covered in hair lol. Like any salon, I wouldn't recommend going and asking for a fade of any kind, but I would definitely go back for a scissor cut/trim as that's what they specialize in. Overall 3/5.

I do miss the girls that use to wash my hair and Alice who greeted you as you walked into the salon and all her gifts you could buy
when holidays and special gifts for all your special people
It was so nice to be able to have your hair done and also a one stop gift shop
I am sorry that he and his co-workers were dealt a dirty deal
Let alone all the clients that lost their gift certificates with the to the closing
I myself had around $300 that my family members always gave me for any occasion in my life
The owner said he would get back to me and I'm still holding my breath
So as long as there is a Gary there you'll have my business
You have a man who will be a plus for your business

This is my first time getting my hair done at Slate and it was such a great experience. The hairdressers there are not only highly skilled, but also kind and very supportive. I will definitely be returning and making this my usual salon! Owner Staci did such a great job with my hair and eased any nerves I had by delivering such a gorgeous highlight. She executed each step with patience and skill.

It's hard moving places and having to find a new hair stylist but slate has been such a great spot! I went today and went to Gary. Very experienced and super nice!

I really enjoyed going to Slate Hair Studio. It has a very trendy NYC vibe. The staff was nice and courteous. Sabrina cut my curly hair and brought it back to life. I am definitely going back.

Great experience at this salon. Easy way to book online or call in. The ladies are all awesome and so sweet. The salon itself is so clean. I go to Juliana for haircut and blowout. Each time it comes out great.

Slate is absolutely incredible. Hailey is super talented and I’m so happy with my hair cut & balayage. She took the time to really understand my color request (going through pictures) and cut (and checking in along the way!). The vibe of the place and the staff was so incredible (friendly & professional. But also FUN!) my search for a salon and stylist has ended! 10/10 - would recommend!

My hairdresser just moved to Slate after Michael Robert's Salon had to close down suddenly after unrepairable damage (So sad!)! But thrilled to be back with Gary at this modern chic salon in Cortlandt, NY.

My hair was damaged previously at a different salon. Hailey did a great job at ‘fixing’ it. She was very up front stating that sh thinks maybe a shade lighter next time. Cut could too. Highly recommend

Absolutely gorgeous salon! Everything is so aesthetically pleasing.just the perfect vibe to feel pampered and beautiful. By far, the best salon experience! Even an “unglamorous”service like a basic root touch up will feel glamorous at Slate! You will leave looking and feeling renewed! Will never go anywhere else
