Had an appointment 1 month ago for service. The first time I called them in 2 years. I paid for service. Now the girl said right now there's no mechanic. Trager was right about Slomins service.

I wish I could give them no star. They are very horrible. I wasn’t able to make payment on time. Now I made payment. But my account is still on hold because payment hasn’t post it yet. Now I have no fuel sitting here with my sick child in cold with no hot water. I asked them if they can get me something for running two days till they do large delivery but they refused only if I am willing to pay $250. I think this is really crazy. I have explained them my whole situation but still they are ok with me sitting in cold with my sick 1 year old son. Worst customer service.

Please please do not sign a contract with them. Pleaseee they schedule a tune up for my parents home 4 months in advance. Finally came did the job and at night (14 degrees) my parents 2 elders and a dog were felt with no heat. When I called to have someone come in they told me they can’t have anyone come out bc they had too much work. The best they could do was next day!
I asked what should I do or if they pay for hotels the manager said no we don’t. I asked if in good conscience he felt this was ok at any level he said. “We are not denying you the service we are just not going there tonight”.
please do not hire them

Patrick, the sales rep, responded to my call in a timely manner and was very pleasant. Signed a one year oil contract. Hope our relationship with Slomins is a good one.

Cannot stress just how happy and staisfied we are with Eric Figueroa services. After Mr. Figueroa sold us our home secrityy sytem he mentioned that if we needed any further assitance that he is available to us 24/7. We had a little trouble setting up our account and cameras and called Eric to assist us. He not only picked up his phone but personally came to our house to help us. I am pround to be a Slomins customer and would like to THANK Eric for his assistance. Thanks Eric YOU ROCK!

Very bad experience overall! Wasted my money on this BAD reputed company, people please be careful they makeup there own false contracts, no need to say more! Disgusted by there customer service felt like talking to brainless people! NO COMMON SENSE & UNDERSTANDING.

Today is April 4th 2018 and I've been a Slomins customer for the past 3 -4 years. I've had one service call in that time. Today, I called to book a basic service call (cleaning, etc) and I was informed that they are now booking service calls for September 2018 and they weren't kidding. Time to change oil companies. I gave 3 stars because they deliver oil on a timely basis.

Horrible people! Thiefs! I buy a water heater from them for 4000$ paid it off in full, they tell me i have a 1 year warranty. Breaks down with in 4 months of purchase, i call them they tell me i dont have warranty. All of a sudden they dont give warranty on something they dont manufacture if i wanted someome to come lool at it its ganan cost me 200$ a hour! Go with petro way better more professional. These people are scums not helpful at all!

Last night I had BLACK SMOKE coming out of my chimney! When my husband called Slomin's he was told that we had to wait 3 days until a service technician could come to my home! This morning, we realized that we have no hot water. When Slomin's was called, my husband was told that nobody could come today. We are senior citizens. What constitutes an "emergency" for Slomin's?
This is the second time this winter season that Slomin's has blown us off. My husband called a few weeks ago when our heat did not reflect the setting of the thermostat. Our house was cold. When Slomin's was called, we were told a technician would come in a WEEK! Service person said we should be glad we have SOME heat because some customers had NO heat. In the meantime, my husband rectified the situation. Why do I have a service contract if it is not being utilized?
I certainly will cancel my contract when it ends.

Worst oil company.always answers the phone but they are crooks.drivers doesn't deliver the amount of oil they billed me for. I'm so suing them.

Our experience with Slomin Shield has been excellent right from the start. The sales person Rich was honesty with all the information. Our installer Oliver was helpful and knowledgeable. Calls to customer service have been excellent especially Tracey who followed up on a change we requested. Overall a great experience and we feel safe with the alarm and Slomins. Highly recommended.

SCAM COMPANY, BUYER BEWARE. This is the worse oil company in NYC, their contract sellers are con-Artists, they sell you everything in the stars and moon and they don't do what they say. Do not Use Slomins and cancel their contract asap, i also heard from a friend who works, for them, that the NY State BB has found about their fraudulent activity, of pumping oil, and charging for more gallons, and they are under heavy scrutiny and lawsuits by the states.

DO NOT RECOMMEND, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This company has the worst ever customer service. I called to restart an account after my dad passed. I was on the phone for about 2 hours on a Saturday as they emailed contracts and things for me to sign. Monday morning I called to check that we were all set up and was told that I never set up an account. After 2 speaking to 2 reps that were blatantly not trained on how to handle a customer with compassion, because several times i explained my Dad had passed, several times these young ladies acted like they didnt hear me and kept saying well his name is on the account.

Yesterday I had a delivery. Today when I checked my online account, it says my next delivery is 7 days away. WEll why would I want a delivery so close to the last delivery. The customer service rep then told me she cant stop it. So I said im not stopping my contract but I would like to hold the deliveries for a later date. She became very nasty and over talked telling me I cant. We hesitated coming back to this company and after all this have plans to take out business elsewhere at the end of the contract. I will also be contacting the BBB, because surely this is not acceptable!

Slomin's security system might be ok but what ever you do, do not sign the 2 year contract to receive oil from them. I have been a home owner for many year's and have taken oil from 1 other company in the past and I regret that I let the salesman convince me to change over to Slomin's. The worst service ever and I regret it. Save yourself the headache and don't EVER take oil from Slomin's.

Worse insurance ever, i give 0 starts, they are all about pumping oil, and overcharing you.they charged me 2.84 dollar/gallon, and i used to get 1.98 per gallon from them, 1 year, ago, i called them, 4 times, every time, i was passed down, to some one else, and no one ever resolved the issue.avoid this company at all time.

ATTN ****: (FRAUD FRAUD Company) worse company ever, they are the name for highway robbery and FRAUD. I would stay away from this company as much as possible. Their game is to lock you in a contract and Pump as much oil as they can in your house, even though your tank is all Full. They look to see where they can dump all their oil in one day, and bill that person, at much higher rate, I highly recommend you to stay away from this SHAM company as i have friends that work, for the company and they are all upset with the work ETHIC they are being told by this Company to use.

If you need them for service expect to wait 24 TO 48 hours for someone to arrive. The take on too many customers and don't care about servicing them. I am not even sure they should get 1 star.

After 20 years of being a loyal customer i will never do business with slomins again.every year they try and bill me for my superpack service contract which has always been included and we have to call and have it removed.the first couple of years we assumed it was an accident but then realized it was planned.last year i bought a new alarm system and paid for including a video camera.when they came to install we were told they could not do so.when you call to get a refund to don't want to hear it.the sales person that sold it was not an honorable person.all i can say is buyer beware.on a positive note the service techs were outstanding
